I was thinking that if they had a lot more animations than the typical FPS, Battlefront 3 could be a very unique first-person experience. I'm all for animations for getting in vehicles, grabbing things, getting knocked down (from explosions, there was this feature in the first and second I believe), getting up, etc.
In regards to the above comment, we ought to be able to switch off the HUD/remove our helmet for a better FOV at the loss of information.

Okay. A good example of animations would be Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. When you reload at ammo boxes it leaves you vulnerable, you can get knocked from explosions, it's really neat...

When in 1st person, I'd like the HUD like it is in RC, but different and appropriately accustomed for every different faction, except maybe it would be cool to vary a bit for each class depending on its armor, especially its helmet, you know?. They need to be realistic, but i think they should be different when in 3rd person. It would make me feel like I'm looking from 1st person at a totally different entity, like I'm not the character I'm controlling.

The Battlefront II HUD is a lot more clean and practical than the Republic Commando's. Arguably, it's a little too primitive looking compared to other FPS HUDs, so they would no doubt have to update it if they make a sequel. I wouldn't mind them adding some fancy-shmancy stuff to it, but I wouldn't want them going overboard like in Republic Commando.
