The Japanese Quake

Post by Scott »

In a time where we all are talking about video games, Star Wars, and Battlefront 3, there was, as most have probably heard, a terrible earthquake that hit Japan followed by an enormous tsunami. It was an absolutely devastating disaster and with nuclear reactor problems the scare is not over.

As gamers, we can help. Go over to the Bungie Store and pick up a relief bracelet. They cost $5.00 and all proceeds will be sent to the Red Cross relief effort.

Thanks,
- Scott

You purchase it through Amazon when you buy it at the Bungie store so you could potentially use PayPal if that works for you (not that I'm pushing it).

I have no method to buy stuff over the internet. I have to reach 18 before I can get my own credit card and PayPal. At the time being, donations will be given at church.

Just as good :u: My community is doing the same thing. Hopefully these funds won't get "lost" as large sums often do during times like this.

Did you order from here Scott? I am getting this:

*** We're sorry. This item can't be shipped to your selected destination. You may either change the shipping address or delete the item from your order by changing its quantity to 0 and clicking the update button below. ***

Do they ship to Canada?

Ya, it's unfortunate about the shipping. It'd be a nice program to push as it shows that gamers care about world events.

There are always other ways to donate though. :u:
