This is why I think a Comic Con (July) announcement would be more suitable. During any E3, games are revealed on a daily basis and popular AAA games get the media into a frenzy. Which is why Battlefront 3 might get a tad shoehorned into the dark with games such as Skyrim, Mass Effect 3, Uncharted 3, Call of Duty, Arkham City, Bioshock Infinity, Battlefield 3, Assassin's Creed, Need for Speed, The Old Republic and countless others receiving the spotlight.

Comic Con doesn't usually announce games that would 'cannibalize' the press, as the majority of games coverage at the event is previews of games already announced, rather than exclusive reveals. Hence, a Battlefront 3 announcement there would seem ideal if Lucas Arts are sure no other 'cannibalizing' games are announced by competitor companies.

look what I found on the site... I don't know if it has been posted before but I have never seen it:

Spark is looking for a senior multiplayer designer for a 3rd Person Action/Adventure title in a high-profile science fiction franchise currently in development for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC markets. The Senior Multiplayer Designer will be responsible for collaborating on multiplayer game system development, designing and building levels, and gameplay balancing and tuning for a third-person action shooter on next generation consoles.

The Spark Unlimited web site is now slightly updated. They got rid of the "Spark is pleased to announce the addition of a new project for 2010."
That is all for our weekly update.

From another point in the article:

I think that line is what started the rumor that Spark was making it in the first place.

You see this:

Spark is pleased to announce the addition of a new project for 2010. We are using our experiences to develop a high-profile, popular game property for a major publishing partner. With the public disclosure of the title still months away, we are looking for innovative and creative professionals to bring to life a Triple-A game for an awaiting, highly critical audience. Employing agile techniques (SCRUM) we are developing this product utilizing our experiences with the Unreal engine.

Tomorrow its gonna change.

And it did:

And repeats all the time.
