I'm sure all you guys have heard the news, allegedly Infinity "whats left of it anyway" Ward, Sledgehammer games and Raven software are collaborating to complete it for the annual mid November release.

What do you guys think?

I don't know tbh I think it could be true but if it was i'm sure they wouldn't be using so many developers for one game instead of several.

The only Call of Duty games I liked were World at War and the first modern warfare. I try to stick with Halo but slide out some.

Hope it manages to be a decent game.

I've heard that Sledgehammer is now one of the annual CoD devs, and they might go for a sci-fi, action-adventure type game for the next Call of Duty. I look forward to seeing how that turns out.

If they're jumping into the cycle, as the third developer, it means 2 years of development per game rather than 1. Hopefully that means even better games.

If you are excited about MW3 you are misinformed and are a wishful thinker.

Activision is one of the worst developers. Tony Hawk was one of the best sports games out there, then they released them all too frequently and now it is irrelevant and of poor quality. Then, Guitar Hero came out and did great, was released too often and now is terrible as well. CoD was great, has been or at least will be released far too often (sci-fi, WWII, MW, and action adventure are all recent rumours) and will eventually suck.

Also, because of the IW founder's lawsuit, the game cannot be a direct sequel so apparently they will be doing a remake of MW1 and MW2 from the perspective of Ghost. I hate Activision and hope CoD dies quickly.

Cmon Respawn.

I believe it was confirmed by the Los Angeles times.

They sorta of are, but they are owned by EA. Maybe they'll help DICE with Battlefield 3.

Sledgehammer is the rumoured developer and it is impossible and very improbable that Respawn will have anything to do with it.

They are part of the old IW now under EA instead of Activision.

Also, I wouldn't say Activion's games and graphics are terrible (considering they have almost nothing to do with the development process) but they simply have a business plan that screws the consumer every time.

Exactly... Activision gets some good quality games but then they go and run the franchise into the ground and then what's left is just a bunch of crap
