As much as I would like some news on Battlefront 3, I would not be happy if somebody's job was put at risk because of it.

I'm still interested in what Panic said about there being something in Force Unleashed 2's upcoming DLC's?
I'm going to keep an eye on any news of DLC for it.
Possibly a teaser trailer added to the menus like they did with NFS:Hot Pursuit where it shows the trailer for Shift 2, think about it announce Battlefront 3 at Comic Con or E3 then release the DLC for Force Unleashed 2 which has the trailer in it and will automatically show it once the DLC mission is completed or at the main menu.
It would be genius, advertising Battlefront 3 in Force Unleashed 2 you'd have the exact kind of people who want Battlefront 3 seeing the trailer.
Sorry if thats a bit long or bizarre but I think it makes perfect sense!

I believe you are right (after all the first Republic Commando trailer was in the Battlefront 1 menu) but I don't think that many Star Wars fans would purchase all the future DLCs due to their lack of innovation (if the prices don't go up any higher then $1, however) and therefore LucasArts might not want to reveal the trailer to a minority. If I worked at LA, I would opt for the trailer to be in a game like The Old Republic as MMOs generate hundreds of thousands of players (much more than DLC would earn).I'm still interested in what Panic said about there being something in Force Unleashed 2's upcoming DLC's?

I think rather a lot of people have sold force unleashed 2 considering it was such a cheap money grabbing tactic but......
if even one person see's a trailer it is likely to be all over the internet in a few days.

Really? Was it on the PS2 version because I don't recall the trailerdrunken hutt wrote:(after all the first Republic Commando trailer was in the Battlefront 1 menu

The RC trailer and demo was on the Clone wars volume 1 dvd not Battlefront. Just remembered that on the back of the Battlefront (I had it on PC so i'm not sure if this was included on other platforms) manual there was a teaser for Republic Commando.
The trailer was exclusive to the Xbox version (and possibly to the PC as well, but I don't know) of Battlefront as Republic Commando was developed as exclusives for the Xbox and PC.Scott wrote:Really? I still don't understand why LucasArts didn't make Republic Commando for the PS2, though.
Considering it was the best selling console of its time (and one of the best of all times) I don't understand either. Dev costs I guess.

LA had many Xbox-exclusives at the time. Like the Obi-Wan game, The Clone Wars game, exclusive Battlefront DLC. Never understood why, but maybe they had some agreement with LA. Not sure.
The same could be said for the GameCube as it featured various exclusives, the Rogue Squadron games and Bounty Hounter being the only ones I can think of.
The Rogue Squadron series was partly owned by Nintendo, so that makes sense, but Bounty Hunter would've played better on PS2 and Xbox controls.

Bounty Hunter is on PS2, I still have my copy.drunken hutt wrote:The same could be said for the GameCube as it featured various exclusives, the Rogue Squadron games and Bounty Hounter being the only ones I can think of.

Lol, I bought a Game Cube all those years ago just for Bounty Hounter, and I didn't even know it was on a platform that I had
