Since you could 'Force Kick' ewoks in the first DLC for TFU2 I'm presuming there will be a similar feature of some kind in Battlefront 3, then.

Well PANIC98 you wouldn't be the first person here to have information on BF3 lol We have had at least 20 different "Gamestop employees" tell us about BF3 and I am not calling you a fake, but there has been many before you that have lied to make them feel "Special"

Yeah i know, ive also been told that when the game was leaked, its budget was huge, like HL2:Episode 3 huge(metaphorically),so he said that he could tell me that. Im sorry but if i was to get any proof such as writing or preorders or boxart or videos, he risks losing his job. So i will just try to get as much spoken info. Sorry guys
PS:I hate those fake GameStop employees. A-Holes to get poeples hopes up just to knock em down

Well I really hope you can get as much info as you can get, and if possible, share it with us. You also dont need to tell us exactly, you could just say, its gonna happen, watch E3. IDK but hope your buddy can give as much info as he can without losing his job

How is something metaphorically huge?PANIC98 wrote:HL2:Episode 3 huge(metaphorically)
I also doubt that LA would put near the amount of capital EA would behind it's products.

And yet I bet LA spent millions of dollars making those TFU2 cinematicsI also doubt that LA would put near the amount of capital EA would behind it's products.

Just look at the bombastic nature of the trailers and how they're clearly intended for hype on a costly scale.

Its so annoying that the Free Radical version of Battlefront wasnt released, it wasnt very far away from completion and Free Radical were already producing concept art for Battlefront IV!
Well, it wasn't very far along at all actually. It was pre-Alpha which is the earliest dev time. It goes pre-Alpha, Alpha, Beta, then released (there are more but rarely used).Smokedcheese999 wrote:Its so annoying that the Free Radical version of Battlefront wasnt released, it wasnt very far away from completion and Free Radical were already producing concept art for Battlefront IV!
As for the Battlefront IV concepts, I'm not even sure if they were confirmed to be authentic

Pre-Alpha stage lets you see how the game works, like the straight to space without cinematic tech and the whole three tiers, and the player movements. If you watch it again, I believe they didn't even have AI players in the game yet. All they had were a few cutscenes and the map with the ships. They still had quite a bit to go.

That's Alpha actually. Pre-Alpha occurs as soon as the game begins development to when before it hits Alpha.GeneralChaz9 wrote:Pre-Alpha stage lets you see how the game works
If that's true it was probably no more than several months in.GeneralChaz9 wrote:If you watch it again, I believe they didn't even have AI players in the game yet. All they had were a few cutscenes and the map with the ships.

7 months in, is that bad or is that good in terms of production time?

That depends on the game and the developer. Sports games usually have annual releases, so 7 months would probably be just over halfway done. On the other hand, free-roam games like Grand Theft Auto have years of development time in between releases.
Also, the world 'several' doesn't necessarily mean 7. It's pretty much the same as saying 'a handful.' At least where I'm from...

How do you know for sure?PANIC98 wrote:7 months in
Separate posts. I said several, PANIC98 said 7. I was estimating and I'm not sure where he got his figure from.Kelevra wrote:Also, the world 'several' doesn't necessarily mean 7. It's pretty much the same as saying 'a handful.' At least where I'm from...
