Thanks for your thoughts Scott, they're much appreciated. If this SOB finally get's released you might see me playing on the ps3 version as BATTLEFRONTTHREE. "Somebody on the internet is wrong." That's funny as hell, good stuff.

I pretty much base my life around correcting people but especially on the interwebs :)

So Battlefront 3 is definitely going to be released!?
@IMU: I'll be playin' on my PS3-System, too.

I'm sooooo excited on the storyline... hope they took the one FreeRadical designed as far as their engine and graphics.

I would say at some point, yes. Maybe in for a while but I'm sure the game will make an appearance in form or another eventually.

Slow down Inquisitor, my thread is in the rumor section of this forum. It's all just speculation. I may have the most optimistic view on here, to the best of my knowledge. But this isn't the first time Battlefront 3 has been seen as a preorder so please don't hold me to anything. I'm on here trying my ass off to generate buzz and a false sense of the game being on it's way in a month. So that way I can fool my brain and inferior intellect into believing maybe it's true. Also, I've got nothing to lose here, it's a very informal gamble is all. If for some reason beyond the general consensus I end up being right. Well a few people will be like holy crap! But please I'm just pushing the limits of the imagination at the moment.

So, yesterday, I've been at my gamestop in Würzburg, Germany, and the staff told me that in the next few months, there won't be any SW based game released except SW TFU 2.

Saturday, 5:00 PM - 6:15 PM, Main Theatre
Star Wars Games - REVEALED!

LucasArts and BioWare unite on stage once again to give PAX attendees an exclusive in-depth look at Star Wars: The Old Republic! Don't miss your chance to be the first to hear and see new details about the MMORPG that everyone is talking about. As an added bonus, attendees will also get an explosive look at a demo of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, the sequel to 2008's blockbuster best-seller. LucasArts will demonstrate now fugitive Starkiller's devastating force powers in an exclusive look at this galaxy-altering game.

Well this is what I've turned up at Pax 2010. It's not much, in fact it's almost nothing to look forward to tomorrow at 5:00-6:15pm. The part I found interesting is how that's over an hour. How much Old Republic and Force Unleashed 2 can they have...Maybe there's room for a Battlefront Three teaser thrown into the mix.

New York Expo-con is the weekend of October 8-10. I had the wrong date earlier, my apologies. Despite Pax 2010 I still think it's going to come out before the end of this year. All signs point to yes. That call made to Lucas arts, the server lists, the E3 lists, and most of all the place holder release date that falls in November with GTA something or other. So get your light sabers ready to flail around like a crazy person and watch the movies cause I'm still hoping for an announcement. B**tch!

The first time I heard anything about the first Battlefront it was an add in a comic. So I'm thinking New York Comic Con will be a possibility for an announcement.

New york comic con is next weekend! Not this weekend, but the next! I'm feeling good about it. If there's an announcement that corresponds to everything I've been buying into regarding a secret cover up of Battlefront three's production it will be disclosed at the new york comic con. If not, I'm going to have to just shut up for a while because I'm starting to feel like a retard. Hm. This whole situation is BS. We are looking more pathetic than all the people who've been waiting for Duke Nukem forever all these years. Man now they are getting what they've been waiting for, in spades. Hopefully it's good.

If the description didn't just flat out insult Lucasarts in whining child fashion I would support that 'petition' a little bit more.

2 things
1.thats the old free radical logo.
2.I dislike your wording, it makes you sound like your against lucasarts, Free Radical released a game that was a total flop and they yanked the license to protect Battlefront.

Lets be brutally honest the graphics looked better than they were in that video because it was shaky cam and we were all imagining "teh mazin grafficz". I mean the drawing in during that cutscene was just plain bad and the resolution on the clone's helmet was pretty bad too...

I'm sure Free Radical would have made a great game, but the facts are that it was in an incomplete state there and it'll never see the light of day.

Well, anyone could be forgiven for disliking LucasArts. Look at their recent Star Wars games and it will give you an indication why LucasArts just isn't the same video game company it once was. TFU2; a 5-6 hour campaign with only one new force power and only four unique locations + sold at top retail price. Clone Wars Adventures; a repetitive and lame MMO filled with mini games that are clearly aimed at six year olds. Really, LucasArts have not given us a proper hardcore Star Wars game since Battlefront 2 or maybe Republic Commando. They now simply exist to make over-hyped games that fail to deliver the genuine quality that us Star Wars fans expect.
