Today I was hanging around jeuxvideo.com website when I found this news about lucasart.

It's talking about recent event at Lucasarts,like every game not revealed will maybe be canceld(like Star wars the force unleashed 3(source: http://www.jeuxvideo.com/news/2010/0004 ... orce-3.htm )).

Meegan aurait comme ambition de mettre fin à tous les développements externes des propriétés LucasArts. C'est-à-dire, entre autres, l'ensemble des jeux LEGO Star Wars et LEGO Indiana Jones développés par Traveler's Tales, qui sont pourtant de sacrés vendeurs. Le MMORPG Star Wars : The Old Republic développé par Bioware serait donc le dernier jeu externalisé. En outre, un autre projet interne aurait été "mis en pause" et bon nombre de développeurs seraient sur le point d'être remerciés.

But just to traduce the darker part...

Meegan would like to cancel every extern project(not made by lucasarts if you prefer) who use LucasArts license.

Note:The only non intern project not canceled would be Star War the old republic MMORPG

So if every project is cancel,maybee we could see battlefront 3 being put in W.I.P by lucas arts or being annouced by them but it migth be too one of the non-accounced project made in extern by an other company,that will maybe be cancel.

I am neither. Seriously though if a game like BF3/online was in development, Then this is bad news. Not to mention bad news for new 3rd-party developers trying to get a good footing in the business (like Pandemic was at the time of BF 1 & 2 ).
