There are more SWBF2 players than SWBF players (and more new custom maps), but do you think this it is because 2 is better or people think 2 is better (because it's...2)? Most of us (swbf clans) got swbf2, but felt it wasn't as fun as the original, because the aiming & gameplay feels worse. The extra features don't make it more fun & probably worse. What do you think & did you play both games? For swbf3 I would rather have a game more similar to swbf1 (third person, aim skills, no heroes) or to battlefield 2/ battlefield 2142 (1st person, teamwork, my 2nd fav. game).
I would defintely say that I am more of a battlefront II fan. The only thing that definetely makes it better for me would be the ability to sprint, and a roll button instead of jump to the side. These controls are easier for me. (if I could modify these I don't know about it)
Also, I don't use jedi so that isn't one of my highs.
Another big thing is better graphics

I'm with you. I much prefer BFI. More AI, tighter controls, better grenade mechanics, better jet trooper controls, etc. If I play Battlefront, it's Battlefront 1.

BF2 is definitely better, because you have the hero system, and awards.

Hmmm, they are both great but they both have their advantages and disadvantages. For example SWBF2 is better because it has new features that allow you to play as hero and you can also play space battles and it has awards and career statistics. But SWBF1 is better because it contains more older maps which are awesome but are not included in SWBF2. So if I had to choose then it would be SWBF2, its slightly better.
One downside of BF2 is that you don't have maps with both ships and ground assault, like BF1

It's called downloading mods. Unless you have something besides PC or XBOX.

No not really. That's all I'm going to say to prevent a flame war...Ironman21 wrote:Yeah, but PS2 has....okay so I pretty much choose wrong when getting a ps3 and ps2 instead of an xbox and a 360

Mods don't work for the 360. So, no, not entirely.

Well, i haven't played SWBFI, so I cant really say things from experience, but from what i've heard about it, SWBFII is better. YOu can get mods for the BFI maps, and a lot of other stuff. Personally I really dislike the unrealism of classes, and player-controlled heroes, because it's like you're changing from one person into another completely different person in the blink of an eye. However, I do like the idea of player-controlled jedi.
You must be listening to crazy people then. The only really big improvement in SWBFII is the Galactic Conquest revision and new gameplay modes. SWBFI is a tighter package overall.AGoodBlaster wrote:Well, i haven't played SWBFI, so I cant really say things from experience, but from what i've heard about it, SWBFII is better.
