I thought it might earn the site some extra cash. Basically it's a click ads to make money, but you also earn as people refer more people.

Those things are cons really and don't get people any proper money at all. Maybe a few pence.

There's no need for websites to be expensive anyway. There are many cheap web-hosting deals I've heard good things about. Mine is reasonably cheap but I wouldn't say good things about it.

Actually if you do a Google for that certain name, there's a lot of legit and good reviews about it.

Yeah but the more revenue I can save up from this site the more I can do. I have plans to have a custom wordpress theme + forum skin to be developed for this site once they announce the game.

But since you are a web developer and graphic designer yourself, would you be capable of making custom styles?

I am a web designer, not a web programmer, I only know the basics to PHP and mySQL.

I saw on the news that these are scams. The reviews are fake. All they do is make you send in 10 bucks, and send you a letter saying get people to give you money

If anybody took the time to read it, you'd realize it's 100% free.. they don't ask you for a cent.
