It works great.. I had it running on my laptop with only 1GB of ram and it still worked pretty well. It was a little laggy in some areas, but other than that it ran just as well as XP.

as far as i know you can install it on any computer, and all it does it sort of simulates dos so you can install another operating system in there and run it.

i.e I run linux in the virtual box even though my computer is primarilly windows vista

check out thier FAQ, might give you more info.
Nice to know. I've heard good things from a hacking perspective whilst using Linux. I'll check it out.

Dang I thought that i might be able to get passed the internet block at my school with this. Stupid filter and stupid education board. They have both a internet blocking filter (to block sites like youtube and gaming sites including this site) and DeepFreeze (which sucks i wish i had a virus to destroy DeepFreeze). But I guess running a parallel isn't so bad.

Do they have all the proxy sites blocked? If not that's your easiest option. You could also disable the firewall through control panel or some sneaky file surfing in the C Drive but I doubt that they would make it that easy.

All proxy sites are blocked. Firewall is an external server no acess though primary computer terminal. The gateway cannot be remotely accessed either. The onlt trick i have is to ping the sites using the command system but they just put a patch on that. Any another ideas?

Yes actually. Get a laptop with Aircrack installed. Then go to your school and hack into through the WEP or WPA (I doubt they would be using WPA PSK or RADIUS) and then attempt the previous things again. Depending on exactly how they have everything set up, you might be able to get through the firewall.

No, access to internet connection using an non-school computer. I know my school board is bad. They rather spend all this money and time to do this instead of replacing the equipment that needs replacing. But I may be able to sneak it though a port but there hard to find but i may just have one.

Well it would be very difficult for them to find out who it was. Unless you were the only one with a laptop.

Well the problem is they also monitor everything on the connection. I wish i could get the whole system a virus that would overheat and/or total the servers.

When I was at high school my friend managed to get past the firewall through excel, no idea how he managed it though.

whilst another programmed his own browser that neglected the filter effects.
