Yeah but there are different load outs for starting weapons and abilities. That would be cool for BF.

But seriously, the problems with adding in abilities and starting weapons: first off sounds a lot like Halo trying to act like COD, and we should all know how COD, especially MW2, was incredibly unbalanced.

Hate to tell you this: but as of right now, that's not actually true.

Truth is, I don't care to much for either series. Their good games, but not great games. And I'd prefer BF3 not be flooded with gameplay elements from other games like overpowered melee attacks, and the unrealistic ability to shoot while jumping. The fact is: Halo is different than COD and it makes me sad to see Halo start trying to act like COD. Just as I was sad to see games like Resistance, Haze, etc. that are rip-offs of the Halo series.

No it wouldn't. 32 v 32 sounds more ideal for Battlefront if they can get ground-to-space tech working. There's a reason why top selling games like Halo and Modern Warfare 2 cap it at around 16 players total. Any more and you would become insignificant to the game outcome.

Did you see that new Bungie video for Forge in Halo: Reach. Man, it looks like it takes a couple minutes to fly from one end of the map to the other just to drop off vehicles. With ground-to-space tech I think SWBF3 could make this even more fun if you could transport an AT-TE onto the ground battle in less than a minute.

Actually I have played resistance, and it's successor. It, happily, didn't play like Halo, but it was blatant to me what the game itself was trying to do. (in my opinion) I enjoyed resistance more than Halo.

That's what I'd like as well. On the note of transporting an AT-TE. One word, or should I say acronym: LAAT/c.

Resistance is during WWII and Halo is in the future. Resistance features an infection and Halo is in the future. Resistance is interesting, and Halo...is in the future.
