While searching the internet I tripped across a job listing at spark games. i will post the link below. Now i'm not saying its battlefront 3 but it could be. The job listing for gameplay designer says its a "high profile Science fiction title" that is months away. Here is the what the site says.

"Spark is pleased to announce that its latest project is hiring for production! We are in production on an unannounced high-profile, popular game property for next generation console release.
With the public disclosure of the title still months away, we are looking for innovative and creative professionals to bring to life a Triple-A game for an awaiting, highly critical audience. Employing agile techniques (SCRUM) we are developing this product utilizing our experiences with the Unreal engine. "

That's very interesting... hope it's good whatever if it is. If it's BF3... then I'm not sure what exactly they'll do with it.

It was a joke... :7:

It's Epic Games that create the large necked characters.

No! No! NO! I refuse to let that company develop BF3 after such failures as: Legendary, Call of Duty: Finest Hour and Turning Point: Fall of Liberty

I'd rather die than see -them- create such an important game.

Well i think they wouldn't be making it completley considering free radical had it about 90 percent done when they tanked. And plus it makes sense for lucasarts to get an independent developer because it would be much cheaper and Spark would get a smaller pay cut.

How do you know they were 90% done? Alpha isn't 90% done. It is fairly late to lose a project though.

I also think its safe to assume BF3 is not the only science fiction game out there lol. Science fiction AAA title can be just about anything.

"highly critical audience".....that just summed up the entire gaming community right there lol.
Unless proof is provided BF3 does not exist.

On the note of FRD's version, our team figures it was around 45% to 60% done for the actually programming/graphic design component of the game. Of course they were already satisfied with a storyline , game ideas, etc. (which takes up a large amount of the developers time ), but if you watched the leaked footage, animation models, etc. Very few of the fighters were rendered, and a large chunk of the AI was missing (AI testing takes months) especially when revolving around vehicles and star fighter combat. Not to mention very few levels were shown. Still what was shown looked beautiful, too bad what happened, happened.

EDIT: On the note of "highly critical", it's a surprise some games have survived if the entire gaming community could be considered "highly critical".

But my article will be pushed down :3:

I must write another! :5:

Seriously though, to quote Wikipedia:
Wikipedia wrote:LucasArts has made no official announcement regarding the current status of Star Wars: Battlefront III.

- Battlefront Series
If it was to NEVER come out they would say something right?
