The Alpha-3 Nimbus-class V-wing starfighter, often simply known as the V-wing starfighter or Nimbus fighter, was a short-ranged starfighter deployed late in the Clone Wars by the Galactic Republic.[5]
Aspects of the V-wing were later incorporated into the Imperial TIE Fighter and its variants, as well as the Rebel RZ-1 A-wing interceptor.

The Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptor, more commonly known as the Jedi starfighter due to its extensive use by Jedi, was an interceptor commissioned just before the outbreak of the Clone Wars in 22 BBY.
The starfighter was considered highly advanced at the time of its creation and carried sophisticated equipment, but it was expensive to produce. The ship was armed with two twin laser cannons (later models modified by Jedi Master Saesee Tiin would contain four quad-pulse laser cannons hidden behind breakaway panels, in addition to its usual complement of two twin laser cannons), and an advanced communication and sensor array kept the pilot of the ship well-prepared in firefights as well as peacetime.
The Delta-7 fighter was fairly prominent in the Clone Wars, mainly through its use by Jedi. One of the most famous encounters and tests of the Delta-7 was the tracking of bounty hunter Jango Fett by Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi through the asteroid fields ofGeonosis.

The Aggressive ReConnaissance-170 starfighter, also known as the ARC-170 starfighter and Advanced Recon fighter,[10]was a heavy starfighter/bomber that saw widespread use by the Republic Navy in the later days of the Clone Wars.[11]
It was an ancestor of the T-65 X-wing starfighter, which would be mainly used by the Alliance to Restore the Republic

The droid tri-fighter, also known as the tri-droid fighter or simply tri-fighter, was a deadly Confederacy droid starfighter designed as a fast, agile and powerful space-superiority starfighter, built to excel in dogfighting.[5] It would be used in large numbers in the later parts of the Clone Wars.[6]

The Belbullab-24 strike bomber was a bomber variant of the Belbullab-22 starfighter that saw action during the Clone Wars and later. The Belbullab-24 were used by some of the Separatist holdouts, including Gizor Dellso's faction on Mustafar. While battling Dellso's forces over Mustafar, Darth Vader asked an Imperial Pilot to retrieve a Belbullab-24 and to deliver it to Imperial forces for closer inspection.

The Variable Geometry Self-Propelled Battle Droid, Mark I (also known as the Vulture-class droid starfighter or simply as the Vulture droid) was a droid starfighter used by the Trade Federation. Later, in much greater numbers, it was utilized by theConfederacy of Independent Systems. It participated heavily in the Clone Wars, at engagements such as the Battle of Kamino and Coruscant.

The Heavy Missile Platform (HMP) was a droid gunship deployed by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. It was based on the design of the older Mechanized Assault Flyer. Manufactured by Baktoid Fleet Ordnance, the HMP droid gunship was an ominous-looking, heavily-shielded aerial missile platform. Designed for air strikes in planetary atmospheres, the droid gunship compensated for its sluggish airspeed with a powerful arsenal of weaponry. An HMP gunship's standard weapons configuration consisted of two laser cannon turrets, one medium laser cannon, two light laser cannons, and 14 missiles. It also had two movable metal mandibles, for an unknown purpose, at its front.[1]

The X-wing was a prominent series of multiple starfighters produced by Incom with a characteristic "X"-shape of four wings, known as S-foils, extending out from the fuselage. These starfighters were found in the service of the Rebel Alliance, New Republic, and also the Galactic Alliance. They were originally meant for the Galactic Empire but when the entire Incom design team defected with the prototypes to the Rebel Alliance this deal was over.

The BTL Y-wing starfighter, built by Koensayr Manufacturing, was a mainstay of the Alliance Starfighter Corps. It was often used as an assault bomber to attack enemy capital ships directly in conjunction with the later B-wing starfighters. Known as a "wishbone" to Rebel Alliance and New Republic pilots, the Y-wing starfighter was deployed as a fighter-bomber, designed to fight its way to its objective, deliver its payload of high explosives, and fight its way out again. Its weaponry included two laser cannons, two ion cannons, and twoproton torpedo launchers. An astromech droid, such as an R2 unit, could be plugged into a socket behind the cockpit to act as a co-pilot and manage the ship's various systems.

The RZ-1 A-wing interceptor was a starfighter designed by the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War. One of the fastest mass-produced interceptors in the known galaxy, the A-wing was even faster than the TIE Interceptor. Simply put, the A-wing was a cockpit attached to twin engines. Like itsClone Wars predecessor, the Eta-2, the A-wing required pilots of exceptional skill to take full advantage of the vessel's speed, agility, and special features—and the Alliance lacked the Galactic Republic's Jedipilots.

The Sentinel-class landing craft,[3] also known as Sentinel-class shuttle,[1] was a transport used by the Empire to carry troops, small vehicles and supplies. With its folding wing configuration and matching cockpit module, theSentinel was based on the Lambda-class shuttle,[5] as well as the Theta-class shuttle. The landing craft's exterior, however, was encased in armor plating 25% heavier than the armor of a Lambda. The landing craft was equipped with four deflector shield projectors. Despite its size, the Sentinelwas fast and agile due to its Cygnus HD7 engine array.

The TIE/ln starfighter, simply known as the TIE Fighter, was the standard Imperial starfighter seen in massive numbers throughout most of the Galactic Civil War and afterwards. he TIE/ln, a descendant of the T.I.E. starfighter and the V-wing starfighter, both developed for the Galactic Republic, was manufactured by Sienar Fleet Systems. In addition to the T.I.E. and V-wing, it was also descended from the TIE starfighter, the first TIE model developed for the Galactic Empire.

The TIE/In starfighter, or TIE Interceptor , was a TIE series starfighter used by the Galactic Empire. The TIE Interceptor was identifiable by its arrow-shaped solar collection panels, a distinct difference from the hexagonal solar arrays of its predecessor, theTIE Fighter. The Interceptor was one of the fastest starfighters in the galaxy at its prime, nearly rivaling the Alliance's RZ-1 A-wing interceptor. Like most TIEs, the TIE Interceptor shared nearly identical cockpits, drive pods, and wing brace design with the TIE Fighter. The solar collector panels were lengthened and angled, and the forward center section was removed. This new solar array design gave the Interceptor its unmistakable dagger-like appearance, while providing the pilot with increased visibility and shrinking its profile making targeting more frustrating for enemy gunners.[4]This wing design gave the craft a more menacing visage, continuing the Empire's reputation of ruling through fear.[5]

The TIE/sa bomber, simply known as the TIE bomber, was a larger, less maneuverable TIE starfighter used for destroying largestarships and pinpoint-precision bombing. The "sa" in the TIE bomber's designation stood for "surface assault."
Due to their distinctive dual-hull shape, TIE bombers came to be referred to occasionally as "dupes" by enemy pilots.
The TIE bomber had two hulls next to each other; one carried the pilot and the other carried a pair of general purpose warhead launchers, enabling them to carry a variety of weapons tailored for the mission. The bomber was much more heavily built-up than the "fighter"-series of TIEs; it carried more sophisticated sensors to penetrate capital ship jamming and SFS P-s4 twin ion engines powered by a SFS I-a2b solar ionization reactor to allow a full payload to be carried at a reasonable speed.

Sadly, I must disagree, because the CIS is the best in terms of Ship design.

the eta-2 actis was by far the best fast fighter in the game, but it felt out of place with the other clone ships.
