So I had to listen to a couple of my friends debate over BF1 vs. BF2 again and I began to think what everyone else thought. So here's the idea:

What games of the series have you played?

What game was your favorite?

What makes it better than the others in your eyes?

What from the earlier games in the series would you not like to see in BF3/online?

I'll go first:

Battlefront ( PS2 ), Battlefront 2 (PS2), Battlefront: Elite Squadron (PSP)

I preferred Battlefront 2.

It played faster than the other Battlefront games, and seemed to have a higher focus on capturing command posts than the fighting, which was both a good and bad thing. Droidekas were weakened (although perhaps a bit too much ), and vehicles actually had a useful counter. space battles, although, were a little disappointing. Comparatively to Battlefront one, I like the faster combat, and not invincible vehicles, although the crappier AI was disappointing.

I wouldn't like to see the AI decline I've seen in the BF series to continue, I also don't want to see the massive customizations available by the Rebellion versions. I didn't like the hosting issues that arose with the original BattlefrontII realease for PC. Other balancing complaints aside... I was relatively happy with the series.

What makes it better than the others in your eyes?

The Jet Trooper's jetpack actually was useful, grenade controls were much, MUCH tighter, the Jet Trooper's EMP Launcher shot without any latency, native races made levels more interesting, maps like Dune Sea and Platforms were amazing.

What from the earlier games in the series would you not like to see in BF3/online?

Class customization, overpowered vehicles, single-tier maps (why Cloud City was so good), Geonosis map from BFII (BFI map was cooler), heroes having time limit and being relatively useless.

I played both battlefront, and battlefront 2. My favorite was battlefront 2 because of the fact that you got to fight as a jedi and online matches were less laggy. I would love them to bring back the story with 501st legion back to battlefront 3 but from a different era, probably between episode 3 and episode 4.

Had B1 Battle droids as main troopers for that ONE mission, and that would be the mission I would hold dearest to me...

B1 Battle Droids, easy as that..Bring them back, and you've got the game locked down for me.

I liked Battlefront 2.

It had different modes, space battles, playable heroes, and more locations.

I don't want the stupid AI in BF3. It was crazy.

What makes it better than the others in your eyes?

Hmm...... Bf1 is better than BF2 because of the Better maps, native species, and going prone. Bf2 is better than BF1 because, it has more maps, Space battles, Heroes, and galactic conquest.
