Yeah, I knowArosenivai wrote: Well this is supposed to be the one thing you would like to have, independent of others answers. I just wanted to see if everyone was in rough agreement or not. It turns out it is not so, but we've all got some good ideas here.

You know, I still wonder why how that is possible. The closest Obi-wan got to the dark side was in episode 1, when Qui-gon was slain...
I know it was an idea by FRD, but I still wonder how they would pull it off.

Yeah I thought the same thing when I first read about it, he always played very nice. But I'm thinking that even though it would make no or very little sense that he would have such a mean streak it still would make for an interesting plot, and perhaps bring an exciting and different dimension to the character. Maybe all those years in the desert, obsessing over Anakin's fate finally got the best of him? But nahh... it would have been interesting to see how they'd actually pull it off though

You know what else would be interesting? Bigger maps, smaller files.

You know that is something I didn't get. The save files were ridiculous in size. (my team used this as an example in storage efficiency. ) We got it down to 9*4bytes for bonuses. 4 bytes for each: kills, deaths, points, numberOfBattles. 10 bytes for control scheme. ( 16 groups of 5 bytes [by method of bitmask compression ] ). 4 bytes for sound settings( now that I'm not too sure. ) and one byte for unique configuration (one bit for AI difficulty, one bit for completion of campaign etc...)
and recognizations:
15 bytes for recognizing it is a Battlefront two game
x- bytes for name of save and type of save ( profile, galactic conquest, campaign...etc )
4/8 bytes internal file pointer.
so all included:
89 bytes, discluding online configuration and imaging...
so Sometimes you wonder what they were thinking with file size.
I mean run that through a few cryptographic algorithms and add a few bytes for corruption checking... still not too much.

to be honest if splitscreen is not in this game I will be waiting for it to hit the $20 range, n I dont care how long that takes. I have enough single players games and online shooters. What I want is a local splitscreen competitive multiplayer. BF1/2 were awsome for that and that was the main mode I played. no splitscreen no purchase. unless it hits the 20 range. and even than it will all depend on whether id still want it by then.
Unless proof is provided BF3 does not exist.

That reminds me a lot of modern games don't support LAN.BobaFett wrote: to be honest if splitscreen is not in this game I will be waiting for it to hit the $20 range, n I dont care how long that takes. Why do they play LAN? It's a waste of time, unless your playing on the same IP as someone else.

I know a lot of people who still do play LAN, and setting up a LAN interface if you already have an online interface isn't really that hard. I know a few of my friends who own a 360 would enjoy another LAN game, because they current can't afford a Live account.

Tell them to buy a PS3 and a PC. You get all the multiplat games and some good 360 exclusives.Arosenivai wrote:I know a lot of people who still do play LAN, and setting up a LAN interface if you already have an online interface isn't really that hard. trust me I know, but good luck telling them that. (I, myself, own a PS3)Scott wrote:

Well they can keep playing LAN and we get free online with built-in WiFi :13:
