May not be much

Post by Wenis »

But since there has been such a lack of BF3 rumors lately I figured this may sort of bring some life back into the speculation.

http://www.mcvuk.com/features/621/50-th ... 010-Part-1

MCVUK did an article about 50 things for 2010 as you can see in the link URL. Here is what I saw about Star Wars:
Star Wars strikes back

“As we get closer to Natal and Sony’s motion controller, I look forward to seeing what publishers develop with this new tech,” says LucasArts president Darrell Rodriguez.

“At LucasArts, we’re hard at work on The Force Unleashed 2. I can’t wait to unveil all the great work the team is doing. We also have some unannounced products in the works and are building upon our beloved heritage titles. You’ll definitely hear more from us in the next few months. It’s an exciting time to be here at LucasArts.”

You know, it isn't much, but in the current limbo that BF3 is in right now grasping at vague things is better than nothing

If I were to take a guess, they will announce any new games at a time where sales are most likely to go through the roof. Like Christmas. However, they may just announce it sometime this summer and make a big deal out of it for several months before it comes out in november or september.
However, this is just my guess man

When they're ready, perhaps?

Guys, I just realized something. What if Battlefront 3 is a repeat of Star Wars: Episode I. I mean what if its like a massive disappointment due to the fact that if the developer screws up the game and doesn't make it right what are we going to do? Are we going to make a massive petition? Are we going to disband from the website? Should we just stop paying for LucasArts games in general? You decide.

I think that I would urge friends of mine to stop buying there games and everything, and maybe have a petition to ban the buying of the game

Everything that LucasArts makes is good, and it would be great if it was a repeat of PM, because it's a good movie.

the movies are good. Period

The games for the movies can't capture everything that the movies portray, especially the graphics.

You'd be surprised at what they could do. I remember that they did pretty well with Revenge of the Sith.

Okay, guys think about this, there is three generations of Star Wars Fans. The first on watched the first trilogy and when the Phantom Menace came out they hated it but then there was the second generation of fans who enjoyed the second trilogy. But when the animated movie and series came out the second generation and first generation hated it. But then came the third generation of Star Wars fans who have never seen the movies but adore the animated series. I am a first generation fan what are you?

Also what that @Ironman21 said about not buying games from LucasArts is called a boycott and one time I was really angry at George Lucas and his company and I made one of those petitions. Currently I have deactivated it but I can reactivate if I want to. So if all I MEAN ALL you guys want me to reactivate then I will but currently I will leave it be.

I am more of a First Generation fan that appreciates what they did with the second trilogy.

And Darth Vader, the RotS Game was cool and all, but do get what i mean by not capturing "everything" that you see in the movies?

And the boycott, I would say, just my opinion, that it should only be reactivated if the game really really sucks even after we have been waiting YEARS! for it.

I'm an every generation fan.

@Ironman21: Okay, you bring up a good point.

However, I still stand by what I said.
