I'm sorry to admit that I was unaware E3 started today. It's the press conferences that start tommorow. Anyway, there is some Microsoft news today!

Project Natal named "Kinect"

Games for "Kinect" (including a sports game ala Wii Sports)

Gears of War 3 (hey, I predicted that :P)

New slimmer 360.

I know there's more because I missed the conference (as previously noted) but feel free to add anything important as well. I would also like to mention that there is no flaming allowed on any of the E3 threads (polls included). If you flame the posts or poll votes they will be deleted and you could be warned and even banned. So be nice to your fellow gamers ;)

EDIT: Expect Ubisoft and EA news tonight as the press conferences are coming up. Maybe Respawn will announce a working title? Assassin's 3? We'll have to wait to see.

That Kinect lightsaber game did not look very good.... the least the could do was put in MGS Rising's slicing physics

There's a rumour about Kinect being used for MGS Rising, as well as the Move. Just rumours for now though.

EDIT:

You can also post about your feeling on the conference. I didn't like too much actually because the Kinect games are just carbon copies of the Wii starter games. A kart racer and a sports game...seems like Wii to me. Gears 3 was awesome though but not enough. Come Microsoft, where's the exclusives?

Ok so I watched microsofts E3 press conferance and I was quite impressed. Gears of war, call of duty (not specifically for 360 but was still shown) and Halo reach all looked really good.

Kinect also looked quite good, i'd never buy it for its gaming but as an entertainment system for films, music etc it looked really good. It even had voice control now :)

I didn't like the MGS title for the 360, its the only title that I miss on the 360 but it seems this 360 one is just an action game and not a stealth one :(

I'm not a huge fan of a CoD or Halo but they looked okay. I didn't like the motion control games either (just carbon copies of the Wii launch titles) but if your a fan of Xbox then I guess it would be cool.
