Hello patrons of Battlefront3.net/forums! Scott here just reminding you that I am always right and because of that wondrous gift I will now reveal to exactly what’s happening with our dearest child, Battlefront 3.

There have been rumours of the ol’ girl for quite some time now with the biggest spark being the infamous “leaked” video of off-screen footage. So the game was planned that is obvious. Would Lucas Arts really just abandon it even when many fans still demand it? No they would not. So based on this, the game is in production! But let’s keep following the trail…

The game has had numerous leaked screenshots over the past year or so and again this is obvious. A good chunk of the screenshots though is concept which is a nail in the coffin for this one. Based on this, the game is not in production. Why? Because for one, I said so, secondly, concept is early enough that scrapping it wouldn’t mean much of a loss. The leaked footage says otherwise about the progress but I’m going by the concept.

Battlefront 3 has accidently revealed itself to us more than Paris Hilton but like Paris Hilton, Battlefront 3’s rich parents try to deny her accidence. Seriously though, there have been numerous pop-ups from Amazon and GameStop. I personally think this is really the rumour that should be the most pondered because of its significance. GameStop and Amazon don’t just have some guy going and typing in clumsily the new products they are selling. Nor is it easy to “accidently” place an item for sale. I mean you’d have to type in all the details and post it so an accident it is not. Based on this is Battlefront 3 in production. Hell ya it is.

The final rumour I’m going to analyze is the GameSpy servers. This one is probably still fresh in your minds so I most likely don’t have to explain it. I do think this helps the case because of the formality they are written in. It may be small but if this were some punk kid trying to funny then you probably would have called the servers something like battlefront 3 pwn owner server. Instead of that it was written in a formal way of Battlefront 3 (Console Name). I believe this to be real and think it again helps our case. So yes, based on this I do believe it is in production.

Back to a serious note, if Battlefront 3 is not announced at E3 I urge you not to give up hope. I’ve read posts from other sites which bring up the point of the numerous games Lucas Arts is already showing off at E3. With all of those games they might hold BF3 till a later date (most likely Celebration V). Don’t give up hope! Battlefront 3 will be released as long as there is an interest!

I'm really hoping Microsoft doesn't name it that. Sony has an easy name because they can literally create sequels of their system. Nintendo keeps their names creative (with the exception of the DS iterations) and hopefully Microsoft will as well. Any who, I hope it's released before that and should be because I said it was in production. When you got an eye for games like that well....that's front page material right there 8-)

the website name really doesn't reveal anything. LucasArts may just be covering their asses so it doesn't redirect to a porn site or if they do make it they aren't being extorted.

beside the GameSpy rumor I thought another hint at SWBF3 being made was that phonecall to LA

So you really think we are going to have:

1: lego star wars clone wars revealed
2. CLone wars MMO
3. more info on Force Unleashed 2
4. that other online old republic game
5. Star wars Star fighter (rumoured) revealed
6...which ever other lucas arts games that are non star wars related revealed

.....AND Battlefront 3?

I mean dont get me wrong I have been lurking this site for a while since that whole "leaked list" popped up and I really do want Battlefront 3 to be announced but I am almost certain it will not be announced this week. compared to the games above I think its safe to say that Battlefront has a larger fan base so announcing a new BF game would in essense steal the "thunder" of those other games which is not something I can see lucas arts wanting to do. Right now Forced Unleashed is LA's AAA title so I cant see them creating its own competition. especially with this star fighter rumour. if that game is being brought back from the dead, so to speak, announcing Battlefront 3 would draw all attention away from it.

i think its more realistic to say BF3 has a better chance at celebration for an announcment or at another one of those Spike award shows like FU2 was.




that being said I hope im wrong and BF3 is announced but my gut tells me theres no chance.

oh and please forget the typos. i tend to make a lot when im not working on university papers. lol

I have another reason why I think Battlefront 3 is in production so here it is!

Have you noticed the dry spell of Battlefront games lately? I don't just mean console releases but also handheld releases. They were usually pumping out a BF a year (or so) and now they have all of a sudden been quiet. Could this mean they diverted resources to a console title? I think it may. We'll have to see...

If they are waiting for the console like you said. It's possible that they waited for newer consoles like the Xbox 360, Wii, and the PS3. That could be why it's taking so long to make it.

your link was basically just another persons take on the gamespy servers. i dont know beig a big AAA title if it was going to be announced at E3 it would have already been done. in other words I think we got duped again. oh well maybe celebration will have good news but again I doubt it. atleast we have forced unleash to look forward to

I don't think Battlefront 3 is a AAA title. Probably not even an AA title. We may really like it but it's not that popular overall
