Rather interesting, if it can all be believed. If what that employee was saying was correct, Free Radical was making a crappy Battlefront 3 game and was exploiting Lucasarts for money for other projects.

this just made me sad :<, but atleast it's obvious Lucas Arts employees are aware of the fanbase for BF3, and I think its likely First Assault is a less risky way to make the game being a download.

I'm surprised a former LA developer would even suggest that Battlefront 3 was cancelled due to its "mediocrity", given that the company had no issues developing future games like Republic Heroes, Clone Wars Adventures and TFU2 that were so blatantly mediocre in their own ways. So, even if B3 didn't meet AAA expectations from the LA brass, it surely could not have been worse than the above three?

There has been an update on the story, apparently a Free Radical employee fired back after seeing that and gave a response
