I'm lovin all of this, thanks for all the time and effort you put unto this. I just have one disagreement.. 2.1.2.1.... it sounds too much like a C.O.D. game to me. As far as upgrades and customization go, I think that in Battlefront 1 and 2, the concept of player equality is what made it soo unique and soo beautiful. Every player, whether really good or pretty bad but still love to play (like me) should start off with all the same weapons, classes and abilities. More experienced players shouldn't need an unfair advantage to win.
That makes a lot of sense, but this would be for singleplayer, not multiplayer. I think in multiplayer everyone should start out even, and maybe be able to upgrade if they play consecutive games, but when they re-join the server, they'd start out even again. It would be nice to have this configurable in the server settings, so players could start out even all the time, have a server profile that persists forever with all their upgrades, or only get upgrades in consecutive games. Good point! =)Darth_Nova wrote:I'm lovin all of this, thanks for all the time and effort you put unto this. I just have one disagreement.. 2.1.2.1.... it sounds too much like a C.O.D. game to me.
