Good news, they aren't making a Lego Star Wars game.

Has it been confirmed or is it only a rumor?
If only a rumor, I suggest adding Rumor to the topic.

I could have sworn that Lord of the Rings had a more mature audience...
But whatever. I haven't played a LEGO game I didn't like, so it might end up being pretty neat.

It's not confirmed officialy but the screens look convincing. If they're busy with another francise then we won't see another Lego Star Wars for a long time.Terrabyte20xx wrote:Has it been confirmed or is it only a rumor?

The Traveller's Tales LEGO games aren't exactly technical marvels. LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean, LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7, and LEGO Star Wars III were all released in 2011. Usually there's at least 2 LEGO games put out every year, even if they aren't based on major franchises. It's not confirmed officialy but the screens look convincing. As far as announced games go, LEGO Batman 2, and LEGO City Stories are both slated for 2012 releases. Which would probably leave LotR and Star Wars for 2013.

I really want to see them do a Lego Indiana Jones 2-type thing and remake the Complete Sage with new levels.

It was officially announced at E3 with the same release date as the retailer price.

Hate the voiced characers idea. I thought the point of Lego games were to portray theplot through actions.
Other than that I have been waiting for this game for years. Ever since I played Lego SW2.

Is that an ancient tibetan dagger in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?
Am I the only one who finds lego games tedious? Lego star wars 1 and 2 were fun but 5 or 6 games later they're just repetitive and boring.
I haven't had any issues with them. I thought that LEGO Star Wars 3 introduced enough new elements (Like the RTS-type mode) to keep things fun.
Then again, I've only played Complete Saga and III, and not every themed LEGO game to come out over the past few years.
But damn if I wouldn't like to see another LEGO Creator or LEGO Island. Those were a blast.
