RedLetterMedia's Prequel Reviews

Post by Kelevra »

Has anybody ever watched these? I think they're pretty spot-on.

The Episode III review can be found here.

I know it's been two years, but I watched them.

Probably the best time I've spent on YouTube. They were both hilarious and as you said, spot on.

My favourite sections:

- tension cutting in Phantom Menace
- first scene of A New Hope comparison
- Qui Gon Booze

So, your entire experience with the video was "Star Wars The Phantom Menace-"

I can't stand TPM either, I hear ya.

Hey, I actually liked Indiana Jones 4. But that's because I saw it for what it was, a B-movie, not the latest and greatest movie by speilberg and Lucas, just a fun B-movie that had Harrison Ford in it.

I didn't have too many problems with Crystal Skull. Other than the whole alien thing being really stupid. Maybe it's just because I was never really into Indiana Jones.

Update! So, the RedLetterMedia guys released an audio commentary track to be played over The Phantom Menace.

The page says it's $1.99 for a download, but you can actually play the entire track on the site. So, if for some reason you've got a DVD/VHS/Blu-Ray/whatever of TPM, and you somehow haven't destroyed it yet, hold off for a couple hours and have a listen to the track. Good stuff.
