Found an interesting interview of Paul Meegan (LA president).
I already knew about some of the things he spoke in this article, but one section of it seems to turn out somewhat interesting:

Outside of that, however, it’s no surprise that Meegan isn’t ready to say what those first ‘worthwhile’ projects are just right now. But clearly, he has taken to heart the idea that the development team has to be as excited about the project as the Star Wars fanbase that they will be serving.

“We’re not ready to talk about specific games yet,” he confirms.

“What I can tell you is that we’re taking a look at our big franchises, iconic characters that have never been featured in a game, and new properties within the Star Wars universe that are jaw-dropping.

“What matters to me is that people in the company are getting excited. We’re doing something we believe in – respecting our medium, and breaking new ground.”

Big franchises: Battlefront, Jedi Knight, Republic Commando, Empire at War...
iconic characters never featured in a game; smells like juicy EU!
New properties: great.

This interview was taken shortly after the president-takeover from P. Meegan...
I read some articles about his statements when they came out last year, but they didn't mention what I've marked above.

I also want to mention on Timothy Longo, Creative Director at Lucasarts. He's got a closed twitter feed (https://twitter.com/#!/timlongojr)... The more interesting page he appears on is his LinkedIn page where he states to be working at LA since April 2011- for an unannounced game.

I wouldn't want to upset this innocent employee but if you're into a twitter bomb then id suggest you do it to @lucasartsgames. You may however send him a tweet.
