To me lost planet was always a game with horror elements.

What catched my eye was that the second project is only described as 3rd person whilst the 1st project is 1st AND 3rd person.
Since Lost Planet 1 & 2 were only playable in 3rd person, this is what could get our hopes up again...

What caught my eye was that the second project is only described as 3rd person whilst the 1st project is 1st AND 3rd person.

Fair point, though the fact they say "Action Slasher with Horror Elements" makes this seem off to me.

How do Spark even exist at this point to be honest?
They made one port of parts of a Call of Duty game and 2 games that were critically lauded for being Abysmal, 3 games over what '04 and '08? That was 4 years ago they made their last game O_O?

Battlefront 3 is still saved!

Lost Planet has NEVER been a horror game. just because it has aliens does not make it horror. that is like saying halo is horror because they fight aliens. Lost Planet is more like a japanese arcade shooter than anything else based on the second game.

and who is to say they are not adding in first person with the way the industry favors fps games I wouldnt be surprised.

besides maybe this means another company can take over and make a proper Battlefront 3 ready for the next gen consoles.

Well at least we hopefully made enough noise for LucasArts to hear.

Yes, but the amount of rumored developers for SWBFIII is just ridiculus.
Free Radical, Rebellion, Pandemic Studios, Slant Six, Spark Unlimited... have I missed one out?

BUT: LA still has a 3rd person shooter in store for us this E3. Since Lucasarts is known for being absolutely silent, so they were probably developing SWBF III internally behind closed doors.
