Its called slash dot:

http://slashdot.org/

and for 5 years now i've been using it. It used to just link you to new developments in science (usually giving a webpage used by the specific reseachers to publicise thier work) but over the last 2 or so years its been adding more categories that won't link you to what t-shirt that famous person is now wearing (you know what I mean).

Its main categories are:
Science
Games
Entertainment and
Your rights online

with several sub categories that sometimes make an appearance i.e politics

It's kept me up to date with major scientific break throughs and developments as well as not so major but still interesting areas.

I thought some of you would like to take a look at it.

Not a big fan of science but the website is a neat find. I'm more interested in computer hardware and software which I was glad to see included. The community is also more mature and void of immaturity such as "flame wars". People still seem to find it hard to see all sides of the coin (which the last time I checked there was only 2). By that I mean people who see something one way, but refuse or at least neglect to see it another. Wish there was a section for more in depth hardware and software topics (overclocking, programming, etc). I may have missed it but still cool site, thanks for sharing :)
