I usually know what's going on in the gaming culture, but I'm drawing a blank. I'm interested in a air combat game that contains no or very few jets. I'm interesting in a game like Secrets Weapons Over Normandy if anyone has happened to play that. So if anyone has any suggestions let me know

This can also be a thread for similar questions from other members.

EDIT: I'm going with IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey. This thread can still exist for other people's questions however.

You could buy Ace Combat Assault Horizon and only use the MiG-21. Still a jet. Just a really bad one.

I suppose that'd be an option

The reason I'm anti-jet is that I enjoy aiming rather than locking, 500MPH rather than Mach 6 and just the whole era. A P47D looks much cooler than a F-15 (threw my eyes).

When it boils down to 'shooting missiles at little dots several miles away,' I'm not that into it either. But the fighting in Assault Horizon takes place at VERY close range, and I think I end up using the cannons more often than missiles.
