Galactic Conquest:
After you conquer a planet, you can blockade it. (Note: you can only conquer a planet with the land portion)After it, the enemy won't be able to launch a full attack. If you want to conquer a blockaded planet, it won't follow the Space-Land battle, but a space only. You can make somethings to pass it:
1- Give orders to attack the enemy ships. Sucess or failure will be determined by he number of ships you bring to a battle. Different classes will be present: Corvette, Frigate and Capital Ship, that can builded in the GC, in a system like in Empire at War, but without space stations and all. Well, after some sucess in the space battles, the rank of admiral (note: appearence changes, of course) (only one per battle, and yes, rank, since class are no more, unless they made a system like in Battlefield 3, where only certain classes can have certain weapons, after all, a sniper that uses Missile Launchers doesn't make much sense) can be unlocked, to command the fleet against the enemy. Heroes can do the same thing. After all ships are destroyed, you can preceed to land invasion (Vehicles need to be buyed, like ships, both to attack or deffend). Or maybe no land, if you build a Death Star... In the land, you starts with some transports (like LAATs) and set foot on the planet. They act like in BFII, as a mobile command post. Special ones to bring vehicles, that also serve as a mobile CP (some). Then, you deploy and start to gain footholds on the planet capturing CPs. Also able to build some destroyable ones, like the republic one seen in BFI and AOTC. In then, you can call reinforcements from the fleet, if they are present in the space or in a nearby planet. If a fleet of certain size is present, you can conduct Bombardments, and going to space, you can do/call (in a CP) a bombing run. Whena all enemy presence from the planet is gone, the planet is yours. (Note: vehicles only respawn the number of vehicles present in the planet's defence fleet).
2- You can sneak pass a blockade with yourself/a transport. Then, you can start a land battle. You can also use the surface-space weapons to help destroying the enemy. There are still presence of planet species (ie. Wookiees, Geonosians, etc. and they, this time, give tactical advntages and vehicles). Also, humans will help too.
3- The enemy may, of course, use the surface-space weapons to destroy your fleet.
4- After conquering a planet, you can slave the population to decrease production time. But that gives ome disvntages, such as
5- Politics are present. If you make lots of "bad actions", like bombardments, slavery, and blockades, neutral planets may join the enemy.
6- You can retreat to save ships, tanks and lives (solider number like in the portable games are present. It's not too cool, but it's realistic).
7- Some space stations are present, but as I said, not in a system like Empire at War. Just one to increase defence and spawn, like the capturable ones in Renegade Squadron.
Customization:
We all know the customization from BFRS and BFES, right? But it's not good. First: If you make a yellow B1 (yes, yellow, not beige, the option is not available), all B2s and Magnaguards will also be yellow. If you make a silver B2 or Magnaguard, B1s will be silver, and that's total faliure. So, in this version, you can choose any color you want (also marks, like Forest camo, variating from planet to planet). Of course, the colors are already availiabe (some), and you can create others (sytem like Paint, for example). When you choose a color, it will be only your, the AI will use the neural ones (ie. If you make a pink B1, the others will be beige as they should). Vehicles not affected by customization. Also, when chosing appearence (aside from colors), a more complex system, please. With the new class system mentioned before, appearence changes.

You're going to need to hit the enter key a few more times if you expect people to read through all that.
As far as visual customizations goes, I'd prefer it not be included at all.

I would like customization, ONLY IF, it is from the movies, nothing more. Like different clone troopers have different colors or different helmets or something. But beyond that i don't think it is a good idea to go all out.
