Ubisoft made GRAW? Well, it was good, but it apparently didn't last because they have not made a new Ghost Recon game in a while.

Maybe they don't want to pollute the series, like a bunch of others I could name that have sort of died off but they keep coming up with new games (Lego Star Wars the Clone Wars. cough*)

No franchise has to have multiple games to make it a good game. Many games suffer from multiple iterations (eg. Guitar Hero, Street Fighter, FF, Katamari, Medal of Honor, Devil May Cry, Mortal Kombat, Total War series, C&C, LOTR games, etc). I'm assuming that's enough examples... ;)

Ubisoft did an excellent job with assassin's creed 2 graphics and gameplay. If they had the same quality graphics.
GRAW was awesome, their working on another one.

I think they may use Unreal 3 as a game engine because the guy from the gears studio is president of la.

In all honesty though, just depends how the developer's contracts work. A publisher isn't a developer's publisher for life. Some, if not most company's sign with publishers for only one game, and because it did well the publisher's are more likely to scoop them back up. Few developer's have publisher's acting like their parent company. Personally, I would like to see Free Radical Design, or maybe even Pandemic pick up the title, but knowing either company, they aren't likely to put in enough development time for the actual multiplayer capacity. So in truth I'm not sure if I'd like them to handle the project, but all the same I'll be happy if it just comes out.

I think EA and Lucasarts should design bf3 but with Crysis graphics.(but it will never happen.)
