Tuggie (Yes, I watch his videos) believes that Spark must be making a Star Wars game, and that it really must be either a Jedi Knight or Battlefront game.

Padawan

I am 100 percent certain that Spark Unlimited is making BF3 because the description of their project and because they have employees who have worked at Pandemic.
This was my first post on the forums

Still not entirely convinced. And it all boils down to the words "action/adventure"

Well Battlefront is an action/adventure, so is Jedi Knight and a few others. But I think its Battlefront 3 because it has a more highly critical audience.Kelevra wrote:Still not entirely convinced. And it all boils down to the words "action/adventure"

Jedi Knight

Yeah, but from Spark's own website it said it was a sequel to a "sci-fi" game and then from this guy's LinkedIn page, he states it's a "Unannounced third person sword fighting game (well known IP, Xbox 360, PS3)" http://www.linkedin.com/in/dalanchooKelevra wrote:Still not entirely convinced. So, that can only be either Jedi Knight or Battlefront. How many other existing franchises are sci-fi and have swords? Only one.
Here's another point: the site says it's a Triple-A title that they're working on. The best definition I've found online is "a triple A title is the equivalent to a Hollywood summer blockbuster. It has a huge budget (including a very large marketing budget), a high level of mainstream hype and will likely be reviewed favourably."
If we're all being honest here Jedi Knight is good, but would people really consider it a Triple A? Seriously, is there that much of a call for Jedi Knight? Does Jedi Knight have a 'highly critical audience'?
Whoa...wait a minute. I just went to Spark's website and unless I'm missing something, the phrase "sci-fi" has been removed from the unannounced title description. Please tell me I'm not missing anything.
Considering how many people reacted to Jedi Academy, yes. Every Star Wars game has a 'Highly critical audience' because Star Wars fans are never happy about anything.Does Jedi Knight have a 'highly critical audience'?
Calling it 'Triple A' is also something that shouldn't be payed attention to. I'm sure Lucasarts considered Force Unleashed, and all of its other poor titles 'Triple-A' games. Not to mention that the only other actual game belonging to any Triple-A license made by Spark was Call of Duty: Finest Hour. Which as we all know was the best installment of the franchise.

You realize that if any Jedi Knight fanboys were here they would kill you right?RogueStarkiller wrote:If we're all being honest here Jedi Knight is good, but would people really consider it a Triple A? Very true, but for all we know this could be a new star wars game, so let's just watch closely, but not come to any hasty conclusions.Kelevra wrote: Calling it 'Triple A' is also something that shouldn't be payed attention to. Well I told Spark if the past titles of the game were developed for the PC, xbox and Playstation. If he says yes then it's not Jedi Knight as Jedi Knight was not developed for the Playstation. I doubt I'm gonna get an answer.

Jedi Knight

I feel like I'm going crazy waiting for this game. Sometimes I think it would be interesting to dress as a UPS guy or a flower delivery person and then go inside Spark and ask an "innocent" question all casually to an intern or younger person as I'm standing there while they're signing like "So, how's Battlefront coming along?". Would be interesting to see if they would slip up. You could tell from their reaction right away if they were or were not making it.
You can however climb up the closest building and peek through their windows...RogueStarkiller wrote:I feel like I'm going crazy waiting for this game.
