-Imperial Star Destroyer: Like the Death Star or Tantive IV from BFII. The teams could be a Rebel Marine boarding party against stormtroopers. A space battle is visible through windows (but inaccessible).

-Coruscant Street Level: Upper or Lower Levels of Coruscant for urban combat. This is possible as the CIS did launch a ground invasion in Episode III (how palpatine was kidnapped). In Republic Commando: Order 66 the ground battle is shown, so I think it would be pretty cool to see this. Lots of alleys and cover. Maybe use of civilian speeders to get around quickly?

Any more ideas? Or ideas to improve original maps?

well honestly, if the developers just remade all the levels from BF2 they could getaway with that as a release.
but in my opinion....
I would have major flash points from the clone wars all up in BF3.
Im talking Salucami, Toydaria, Ryloth, ALL the outter rim sieges, The greats like Kashyyyk, and mygeeto.
Not to mention ABY (Empire era).
The empire fought on hundreds of worlds outside of basic film cannon battles like Hoth, Endor, and Yavin4.
I just really want a more diverse Map choice. I constantly found myself yerning for a huge scale battle in BF2 and all i had to satisfy myself with was Hoth or Geonosis. I want a Level where the Level is part of the game play. A much more Alien enviorment would be outstanding. more starwars cannon added to battle fields. Something that will make it pop. I also think that just having BF3 NOT on the first xbox would do wonders on itself.

By the way ABY (after the battle of Yavin) is not the empire era. The empire was formed at some point in BBY (before the battle of Yavin) and was defeated at some point in ABY. the battle of Yavin simply signifies the turning point in the war.

I'd like to see the Gungan underwater city in Naboo. Now we have Space to Air to Ground to Underwater transitions.

That would be cool, but it should only be accessed in a Big Team Battle, otherwise no one would get any kills.

haha Yeah! and if they re-did the battle of Naboo you could ride a Fambaa or a MTT!

WEll technicly ABY is still within the domain of the empire... Hence "The Empire Strikes Back" hahaha, but those are just technicalities... Does anyone know if LucasArts has made any Expanded Universe games? Im pretty sure Jedi acadamy had a story line that took place sometime after the battle of endor..... but I may be mistaken. I've never really paid much attention to the EU stories but im just curious.... since those yuzang vongs or whatever are pretty bamfy. I saw a custom figure of one on flickr.. and DAMN! hahaha!

Only the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight games take place after Jedi. They're all pretty good, and seeing some locations based on those wouldn't be too bad for Battlefront.

But Star Wars ENDS after Jedi as far as I'm concerned.
