I’ve broken it down into 5 categories: Overall, Galactic conquest and planet warefare and space warefare, ground/space warefare. Criticise/applaud on what you wish.

Overall:

- The ability to have multiple capital ships in a single battle
- Ground and space battles should be fought simultaneously with advantages associated with both areas.
- Much more people should be in the battle, 100 vs 100 would be epic!
- Types of battle:

Scout – A stealthy, you have to map the area type thing, if it is done before a battle then various advantages are awarded (more in depth map for instance) your original location will be a troop vessel and if your discovered then you can either fight(and die) or attempt to get back to your vessel and fly the hell away! 5 reinfs available

Raid – A hit a run type battle, where you and a team of troops attempt to do some damage to the opposing forces before your main body arrives, you can either try to hijack a capital ship or even destroy space cannons on the ground. Either way you start off with 5 full troops ships that serve as your only means of escape should all hell break loose. 25 – 40 reinfs available.

Conquest – This is the actual battle, normal fight it out until one side loses type thing. As many reinfs as you have assigned to the battle squadron.

- If you enter a battle with only 50 reinforcements and the enemy have 500 at their disposal then the lower force should be outnumbered 10 to 1 at all times ( i.e. actually 10 players/bots for every 1 player/bot on the map). This will give a massive sense of being outnumbered on the battlefield.



Galactic conquest:

- Instead of having 150 reinforcements a piece per battle, players should be able to build battalions, each consisting of 150 reinforcements and be able to attach up to 5 to a capital ship and 10 to a planet. If you enter a battle with a battalion and lose 50 troops, the next time you use that battalion you only have 100 troops to use. There should also be a re-train and a merge function, so your not running around with 20 battalions each consisting with around 20 troops.
- Give the players an option to upgrade various things on the planets, like extra flak cannons, more ground to space cannons, upgrade economy ect

Ground warfare:

- Have groups of AI only troops/ aircraft knocking around the battle that can be directly ordered by a player to do things i.e bombers A,B and C bomb the crap out of that bunker! Or squad A take that control point!
- Have space cannons dotted around the map that needs to be either destroyed or captured by invading forces. These cannons are bombarding enemy capital ships in orbit, assisting the defenders. If this is captured by the attackers, then the cannons start bombarding the defending fleet.
- The invading forces do not start of with control points on the ground, the defenders have them all. The attackers must land troops on the ground to take these positions and start the offensive of.
- The players should have a ‘get into cover’ button, like that on gears of war, this will make the fire fights much more intense and longer lasting.

Space warfare:

- The point system needs to be scrapped and replaced with you actually being able to destroy the ships and if you destroy a certain system for that to actually have a negative effect on the opposite side, i.e. you take out the com tower, effect, ground troops cannot request bombing runs etc until its repaired.
- There should be a command area on the flag ship(main capital ship). Here you can order a full retreat, where all forces are called back to their original capital ship and the fleet retreats. Similarly the defenders have the retreat option where they attempt to jump to their next friendly system.
- The players should also be able to manoeuvre their fleets around.
- The capital ships should play a bigger part in the battle and have more fire power and do way more damage to their rivals. The bombers should play a more of a supportive role, in bombing specific targets etc.
- It should also be possible to capture an enemy capital ship and use it against them.

Ground/space warfare
- Ships and vehicles shouldn’t continuously spawn. Heavy vehicles should have to be dropped in from space (utilising the AI only slots) and should have a finite amount. Similarly all spacecraft should be of a finite amount and have to be purchased prior to the battle, if you run out then that’s your problem!
- The ground areas advantage should be that they can use space cannons on enemy capital ships. Where as the space areas advantage is that you can call on orbital bombardment from your capital ships on the ground, if the ships are close enough to the planet.
- An overall command position should be present somewhere, to direct the AI players to help their human counterparts, so your forces are placed where they are needed the most.

Pretty well thought. I like it. If you've played endwar, then maybe a battlefront where you could choose to be a commander and control the battle, or be a foot soldier and go through hell or high water to get to your objectives.

I think a strategic menu would be nice were you see a layout of the battlefield and you can command units on a massive scale.

I like your idea but I want to make an A+++++++++ class system in which you can make and customize your own class. Hopefully lightsabers will be used.

Well it's mainly the servers/internet speed. The computer's themselves definitely have something to do with it but if they can compress the data from the different players that shouldn't be a problem.
