So a while ago I posted about the Republic Commando's of Delta Squad being mentioned in the Star Wars comic

At Comic Con a set of Clone Wars style Delta Squad set.

RC 2 has to be in the works damn it

I want it to be so badly but I still want SW: BF3 lol

The show creators said they only put the commandos in the episode because they liked the game. I doubt it's hinting at anything.

Republic commandos and ARC troopers are the baddest asses in all of star wars. The Republic commando novels are the best star wars books IMO.

Why spend time Creating the models, putting a bio of them all into a comic book and releasing a set of figures if theres no reason?

If they are making it, they better at least put it on PS3. Remember, Republic Commando was an Xbox/PC game. I only barely played it because of that, and I would love to have a sequel.

Don't worry, I at least completed the SinglePlayer, and I know the very sad ending...

They didn't reveal Sev's fate in the RC/IC books.

Yeah the books are set before the ending of Republic Commando, Karen Traviss requested many, many times to be allowed to continue the story of Delta Squad but LucasArts wouldn't allow here because they own Delta Squad.

She was allowed to do what she wanted with Omega squad before, during and after the games story line but she wasn't allowed to touch on Delta squad During or After the games storyline.

And tbh the longest cliffhanger ever was probably some obscure game we've never heard of or something.

Delta Squad become Imperial Commandos. Sev is still missing but is temporarily replaced. That's all the books tell you I think.

Hmmm, LA is recruiting an FPS specialist too...Says so on their site, which I think is mentioned is the news on the front page...

But then again RC was based on the unreal engine.There could be some truth in the RC sequel idea after all
