Does Green Day Rock Band for PS3 count? Air guitar?

I have always wanted too, but never really had money for lessons/guitar/amp. I could probably teach myself by using the internet, but I still would need the free time.

Why do people tend to discriminate against genres of music. I love all types of music. I dont restrict my music just because I play a certain instrument. Ive played bass and acoustic for a long time now but that doesn't dictate my music. We should judge artist based on their individual talent not their genre. I mean listen to this and tell me if you still hate rap.

Because of taste? Not everyone likes every kind of music. I can stand every genre of music but I don't want to listen to it.

Pop and dubstep are my least favourite. Rap is about par with country for me. Alternative and Classic Rock are really the only two genres I like.

I doubt you'd like all the music I listen to. It's damn near impossible to like everything.

If you really do like all of those songs then I guess you do like everything that I listen to and therefore have a higher level of musical taste than most people.

Then again...if you like dubstep you lose all credibility.

I also play a bit of guitar just for fun though. I also play piano quite good.

Also theres rockers everywhere, they are just harder to find than your generic white guy who listens to rap, and whatevers 'hip'.

Rubbish? Unlike Eminem or 50 cent who rap to generic themes that are contrived and are personally responsible for the "death of rap". These are artist that have been receiving accolades for not only "resurrecting" rap but alleviating past its usual destruction of its roots by covering it with rudimentary themes. Tyler the Creator is nominated for best new artist and best video this year at the VMA's. Shabazz Palaces has had the highest rated Rap album and highest rated EP in the last three years and has won multiple Grammys. Taste shouldn't be dictated by the mainstream machine or by a hipster agenda but be instantly be actuated by the unbiased filter that is (or should be) our ears.

I wouldn't say there one of my favourite bands but I do like them. Tom Sawyer and Closer to the Heart are good tunes.

Really? I don't mind country. There is no genre I cannot stand but my least favourite are metal, jazz, and pop.
