Enter the Galaxy with studio head Jorg Neumann (Kinect Publishing) and lead producer Craig Derrick (LucasArts) as they discuss the highly anticipated title with USA Today's Mike Snider, sharing new game play from the iconic Star Wars universe, revealing an all-new mode, and unveiling an exciting announcement. I'm still not convinced that this is a Battlefront game specifically, but it is better than nothing.

Edit: I think

That new announcement would be a new gameplay feature or mode that hasn't been shown before (probably fighting abilities or multiplayer). If the announcement will be Battlefront 3, why would Lucas Arts announce it in a panel for a completely different Star Wars game? It's like announcing a new animated Batman & Robin television series during a panel focusing on the upcoming Dark Knight Rises film. It wouldn't make sense.

Further, if the Old Republic and Kinect Star Wars games get their own panels, why doesn't Battlefront 3 have its own panel?

What you suggested would go for the point "revealing an all-new mode".
But what I think they meant with the "unveiling an exciting announcement" is the rumored R2-D2 xBox with integrated kinect in bundle with the kinect game.

I hate to say it, but I think he's right on this one.

But I still think that BF3 will be announced, just not in the panel. I'm thinking more of a stage blowout, rather than a mention in a different panel.

And Battlefront 3 has really become a white elephant anyway (though not in a burdensome way) so it shouldn't be surprising to fans that it's in existence.

Gee, you know the first thing that pops in my head for a panel that would be named "Panel for anticipated unannounced Star Wars Game?" Battlefront 3! I think that wouldalso be a big giveaway as well, it wouldbe to obvious, they probably wanna supprise their fans and be spontaneous. That's why I think it's possible they very well could be announcing it at that panel, because they won't be expecting it!

A member of a different form made a good point.

i liked it when people sent them different emails saying

Q:-are you making a new Halo game?-A:-NO

and

Q:-are you making a new Star Wars Battlefront game?-A:-can't confirm anything until publisher says so
pure genius from you guys there...you guys are tricksy

If this really happened (referring to queries about a new Halo game) then this looks pretty good

Yeah... let's bug Spark some more. 2 friggen days, people.

Asking them if they're making a Halo game (a month AFTER 2 new Halo games were announced) is a pretty dumb thing to do.
