These are a list of people(Not all of them) that I believe to be geniuses for one reason or another. These are people that for some reason stand out to me. The list is in no particular order.

Michio Kaku-" American Theoretical Physicist, Professor, Bestselling Author, Popularizer of Science" is the way he describes himself and I would agree. He is the most frequent guest on the discovery channel and everything he says makes sense. I dislike Lady Gaga's music but even when looking past my bias would not call her a genius. She's just copying what Madonna did not that long ago.

Rockstar is also not one entity but a company with many employees so I'm not sure I would call it a genius.

Specific game developers I would call geniuses are Todd Howard, Cliff Bleszinski, Tim Shaffer, and Ted Price.

I would also add Adam Sessler on the list. Not for his XPlay attachment but his podcast. He is a very intelligent person with many strong opinions that are a delight to listen to.

I also think Matt Groening, David X Cohen, and to some degree Matt and Trey from South Park are geniuses in writing and animation. I would not include Seth MacFarlane.

Great point but I was speaking purely on the individualism that each employee has to have in the company. I mean to take something as dead as a western and make it relevant is amazing.

I would absolutely agree expect for the Seth Mcfarlane thing. People are always hung up about who did it first, not who did it better. (big family guy fan)

"In my opinion" is what I said. Also I said I like her music but never placed any actually appraising toward her music. I placed it in her ability to garner fans and media attention with her bold but inventive appearance. And also she was big part (according to the new york times) of the New York decision to allow gay marriage. Also like I posted Forbes thinks so 2.

Do people still not know that I have dial-up? Whatever your video might say, she is a copy of Madonna. Does she at least write her own music? I mean ALL of it? She'd win some points from me if you can prove that.

Give a nod to the game director then, not the entire team. Some people may have not down much to contribute at Rockstar. There are also many Rockstar divisions. Did the janitor at Rockstar France help? I don't think so and therefore he is not a genius.

This Simpsons did it first and much better. The writing in Family Guy is awful. The animation is Family Guy is sub-par. The VO is okay and I think they have solid actors. I think you'd find that a lot of other big names in animation dislike Family Guy. Matt and Trey specifically.

I'm not saying to stop watching the show, but that Seth is not a genius for re-skinning an old idea and melting bad writing over top.

She didn't write any of her early songs but she writes the more creative ones during her prime. I could prove it to you but you would need to see a video. But I quote she says "I'm a song writer first, a human second." She also doesn't sing about generic songs like Madonna did. But I still don't think you understand why I think she is a genius. ...and the South Park animation isn't. Its not made with cardboard cutouts its made with the Maya animation engine and still looks terrible. A lot of people support gay marriage. A lot of people don't. Having an opinion doesn't make you a genius.

I never said that South Park's animation wasn't bad. I also originally said to a certain extent Trey Parker and Matt Stone were geniuses. I wouldn't give them the title but they seem to be doing quite well regardless.

David X. Cohen and Matt Groening (as well as writers like Ken Keeler, Jeff Westbrook, composers like Danny Elfman and Christopher Tyng) are the geniuses of animated sitcoms.

I'd also like a reference or an argument as to why George Lucas likes Family Guy and Robot Chicken better.

David Jaffe also created Twisted Metal.

How about composer John Williams? You can play the Imperial March to almost anyone and they know its Star Wars, same with the main SW theme. Or home alone theme,Indy theme, and E,T theme.

Correct but I wasn't commending the fact that she had an opinion but I was commending the way she can actually blend it with her music (very controversial to do so) and act in such a matter that it can influence an entire movement. But I can't change you're opinion, you can't change mine either, but that's okay and what makes the world a beautiful place.
