I called around all my local Gamestops. Here are some of the responses I got when I asked them if I could preorder it, when does it come out, when does the preorder end ( Aka when does it come out), They All Sounded Very Suspicious like they had been told not to answer any questions.
They Said

Can I preorder BF3- Yes you just need to come in to do it

That's what I realized but there is one thing I learned about BF3 after my calling. They took Battlefront 3 off of the Preorder's list. Interesting...

And a lady told me that she thinks it's only coming out for PC. But I don't think she knew what she was talking about.

The fact that it was even up there is good news. I mean that would imply someone high in Lucas Arts told (or it at least got around from a reliable source) a representative of GS which then misheard as an official release. Hopefully this isn't just a huge mistake although GameStop is known to make minor mistakes such as the pre-order date mix up with GOW3 UE. I actually forgot about this, I'm glad you brought it back up

havn't we done this with gamestop already? with them posting up the pre-order option on the net a while back?
I agree with Nitro, gamestop knows nothing. We should do a test, call up and ask to pre-order another game, one that doesn't exhist or isnt being developed and see what happens!
If they say similar respones its another nail in the coffin.

Very true. I've gone into gamestop only a few times in the last year, and every time I'm there I feel like I'm surrounded by idiots

It's hard to know if an employee really knows games during an interview. You could spend time asking but the manager themselves probably don't know much. I think it's good news (old but still good) because what are the chances that the game so many people are waiting for was "accidentally'" placed as a pre-order. Someone at GameStop must know something, although the employees sure don't.
