when i watched tuggiegamereviews video on battlefront 3, i realized that the game was being made. then a couple of months later we all heared about project cafe. at e3 the project cafe was named the wiiu. the console looks really cool, with the touch screen controller, we saw that there are new ways to play the game.
when the console was leaked we also heard that third party publisheras had been given dev-kits. lucas arts was one of these publishers. now, the only game that lucas arts has come out and said that they're working on is star wars kinect ( but we know that battlefront 3 is in production and is being developed by spark ). star wars kinect is on kinect, which is on xbox360, made by microsoft. ( remember EA is working on the old republic, not lucas arts ) the only multiplat game which is (Probably) in development is BF3. if you are wondering if lucas arts are making an exclusive then think again, when the 3ds was launched lucas arts ported over lego star wars 3. so it will be a multiplat.

Lets hope not because it would probably delay the whole development process because its a new console and they are still learning how to use it. It could also affect the quality of the game by shifting the focus to porting the game and thinking of gimmicks for that WiiU controller.

Actually, no. Many devs have stated that it's easy to port games already in development to the Wii U, so it's not unlikely that we will see a port.

The PSVita is over rated, but that's just IMO.

Yeah its what they said but no proof was shown at e3. They're not even clear on how the console stacks up against the xbox and ps3. They announced an assassins creed for the console and haven't yet said if its revelations or not. And think about it, they would have to add another console to the development, get used to whatever online system the WiiU has, and come up with gimmicks for that controller. All these would detract and shift the focus of the development. Furthermore, the WiiU doesn't drop until after april of 2012 (confirmed on Jimmy Fallon) so we couldn't expect Battlefront 3 to be launch title and therefore wouldn't see the game till like holiday 2012.

Well, i expect the wiiu to come out around june or july next year and if the game is announced at comic con then it will take another year for the game to come out. there are lots of hints that the game will be on the new console. it's very cool when you conbine all the info about battlefront3 /spark, lucas arts arts and nintendo/wiiu. you see everything clearly.

that will give you loads of info on the wii u
then write down everything about spark/battlefront3 (emails to john, hints, job description)
then look at Lucas arts (do they get on with nintendo, what games they are working on)
look at all the info and you'll find out lots.

Its only overrated because Sony has a reasonable price AT LAUNCH!!! And two analog sticks. And almost PS3 graphics. And an OLED 5" screen that is better than a 480p TV. And has a great launch lineup. And plays Digital PSP games and upscales them(Battlefront 2 on PS Vita! ). Need I go on?
