Spark has just updated their job list and there are many new jobs. Though it looks like that they where very careful not to leak key information.

If you remembered they mentioned that the game will be announced in 2010 (though it never happened). Usually games are released a year after their announcement so if they planned 2010 then the release would most likely be this year. Just a possibility.

But it wasn't announced last year, so how could it be released this year?

Their publisher told them not to release it yet but since it was planned for 2010, they might release the game sooner than you think. Just a guess. Other games like Saints Row 3 was announced this year and will be released this summer.

Either this year on September or early next year.

I don't know much about the whole process, but I seem to recall someone saying on here that whomever at LucasArts wouldn't announce the game until it was done. I was under the impression that most games are announced long before they are completed so this could mean a fairly short waiting period for Battlefront 3 between announcement and sale.

If they announce it in June, it could come out in October/November just before the Thanksgiving shopping rush. I remember Battlefront 2 came out right at about Halloween because the Gamestop I bought it from was having a costume contest before handing out the game on opening night.

Well, I hope that all these years of waiting has been put to good use and they will give us a great product. They've certainly had time to learn what's become popular as far as features and gameplay and fan expectations of the game.

Speaking of being careful not to leak any info, did you see the non-disclosure agreement at the bottom? Lol, it looks like we've been asking too many questions to them.

I wouldn't be surprised if Spark monitored this site on a daily-basis, how else are they going to know if one of its employees leaked information.

That's a really good point. People do need to watch what they ask and especially answer and only use PM's for that sort of thing. I do hope they monitor this site though and get some fan feedback. I wonder how much this site has been promoted across the Star Wars online community. People should mention it in various forums in a tactful way so as not to spam. We need to consolidate all the Battlefront fans and Star Wars fans for that matter.

This sounds like a good idea and it all makes sense!

We just need like spartan said a spy.
Hope Rises, So Trust in the Force. Battlefront WILL RETURN!

I don't think it's confirmed rather than hoped for. If we do, I can assure you it isn't me.
