Look we have a guy who knows stuff don't ask q's like that because panics friend could get into trouble, we need to walk the fine line of not digging too deep.
This is what I wanted you to read Davros.
Just stop asking stuff.

Why did Luca Arts cancel the contract? I forgot that part. Makes no sense why they would. It's the worst thing they could have done. The game would have made them a lot of money, I'm sure.

A)I havent talked to my friend in a while. Maybe ill try to get in touch and hang out
B)They never canceled it. Free Radical was losing money and went bankrupt, which lead to LucasArts moving the project to an unknown studio and or putting it on hold, i believe.

My understanding is that frd went under after Lucas Arts canceled the contract and as HAZE was doing poorly.

That is correct. LucasArts saw that their game was not working out and the tech they were using was not up to date, and Free Radical was loosing money so LucasArts released them from the project. It can be easily proved is was about money because Free Radical was then later bought by Crytek (The makers of the Crysis games and such).

Well, being able to fly from atmosphere to space was definitely an up to date thing technology wise. So perhaps general aspects such as shooting, gameplay and presentation were not up to date?

They did it in the leaked video, it was working fine. :?: I just never understood what wasn't up to date.

The leaked video looked good in my opinion. I don't know why they canceled the contract. I don't think we will get to know that. Apparently it led to some sort of canceled payment from Lucas Arts to FRD which pushed FRD into administration. Not sure if that is true.

Well trailers can be misleading. In the trailer we dont see bug crashes. Its not even a clear view of the screen. I believe that the tech wasnt able to run on dual core and it wouldnt unless the code was rewritten.
