How about a new game type?

Okay Maybee this could be a game type but Star wars empire at war. Think about it, or reasherch it if you dony know the game but wouldent it bee cool if you could do some of those things.
Like for instance you start out in a space station commanding unit's or in a star destroyer dock's fighting it your self. Now there are mine's throughout the battlefeild (Money making, that type, can be disabled if the palyer wants a short battle with limmited resources).
When you are attacked your forces must fend off the remaining enemy forces or retreate. you canot build if this is in galatic conquest or if the player once again turn's it off. The player can decide what kind or battle he wants (through options). Pick the map, maybee a small map for a small battle with a few cruisers and stuff with no space station, Or a huge map with star destroyers and a space station. You may also decide on what size (level) all players start with.
Now before I go further dont get me wrong none of us want's overwelming forces or rushes like in halo wars (arg online is annoying in that game) or non sence like that, there will be a unit cap that is ajustable as well.
You must rank up if (Multiplayer) to build ships. when you want to build a ship you have to either personally go to the space station or call reinforcement's from your ship's bridge. all players will start out with a basic rank and for each kill they get point's to rank up with. This is not going to turn into a game with ranking up is the only thing to do to get weapons (Battlefield,Modern warfare,call of duty,ext,). First rank you can build ships like a tarton cruiser (look up the game I mentioned). im not going to go deep into the detail's.
Ships are fully loaded unlike other game's and can move by a higher ranking officer (multiplayer) that has either started out with that unit or built it. When you build ship's during battle it will be a skirmish battle and they will come from hyper space.
If you are controlling unit's you can exit the command center of your space staion and get in a tie fighter or a x wing and join unit's and order them to do stuff like you where still in the space staion only you can die (respawn same rank and at locations throughout the battlefeild like in ships or space station). when a ship blows up and your either in or close to it, same for space stations (yeah there not invincible) you go with it.

:Alarm is sounded when a ship is critacly damged.
:Fighter bay can be destrored (hanger) and when it is you may not acces it becuase that little blue shield is gone and you would die if you went out without a oxogon suit.
:If hanger destroyed multiple exit's throught the ship you may call any unit to pick you up (preferably fighters).
:I am not going through ground battle ideas.

You may build ships to protect or attack a planet. I lost my train of thought.
What do you guys think. Any way's you can improve my idea and make it game suitable? I know this wont be in becuase of the progress spark has gotten but it's still worth it to make ideas. What do you think?
