If not Spark it can allways be Rebellion.

Lets not forget who made the battlefront PSP games. I don't want us all to give up hope if Spark Unlimited is not making BF3. Rebellion would gladly pick up a full console version of games they've already made. I see no reason why Lucas Arts thought they needed to switch developers. Maybe they didn't. Other than that I have heard that they are working on a third-person shooter but I have no evidence.

Heh, tbh Spark Unlimited is one of the few developers out there who I would prefer not make B3, but that really
doesn't matter since we'll be lucky if the game is even finished at all.
Regarding your last point, Rebellion is making a new game for the Vita that fits your description, but I really hope it isn't a Battlefront title.

This is a new project this year... or at least I think. That post is from November 2nd. All I heard was that they where working on a 3rd person shooter this year. Again If have no evidence it was just from someone I know.

You can always ask them.

Hopefully it isn't just a PSP game.

I really hope it is not a PSP game... The PSP games just are missing, well everything that a console or pc has to offer.

I hope to god its not rebellion.
They have no skill with ps3. Hence why they made the old battlefrotn 3 into elitesquadron and ruined it completely

Elite Squadron was going to be made either way and almost remain the same way no matter what developer LA chose; Rebellion was probably just the first studio given the offer to do so.
It was primarily a port afterall, so it's not really a true representation of a Rebellion game.
Unless the PSP version was being developed alongside the console/ PC B3 versions.

The PSP is pretty much at the end of its lifespan. If it's a portable exclusive, it will almost certainly be for the PS Vita, which has decent graphics and dual analog sticks. So it's much closer to a console experience.

But it isn't a console... Processing power, graphics, Online, Screen size and much more are missing or just plain suck even with the PS Vita.

It is a console no matter what. A console is a device that can run multiple games. You are thinking of home console.

Very true. I personally don't classify PSP, Nintendo DS, or anything similar consoles. I think of them as Portable Gaming Devices.

So that wouldn't be ideal, but still better than a PSP game.

That's truly a better name for them.
