GameInformer's next cover story

So pretty (possibly) exciting news about Battlefront. This kind of bounces off my last post. It seems like some outlets are pretty convinced that the next cover story for Gameinformer is Battlefront 3. And before I post the links I'd like to give my reasoning to support it. First is this

It could mean anything but Battlefront would be pretty "unexpected." Another reason is full disclosure is in 2012 so that means it falls in the timeline. One thing to note is that my post on Gameinformer out about the Spark rumor is odd to me.

It is odd to me because it looks like Gameinformer already knew. Look check here in the second paragraph.

Why would they act as if this is the first they heard of it? Build up. They are notorious for dropping hints at their next cover story. Here are some links that feature the Gameinformer rumor.

Unfortunately game journalists, especially when discussing their own work, beef things up to incredibly high proportions making something "unexpected" be something everyone knew about.
Remember the VGAs trailer you couldn't believe that was completely believable? The HUGE announcements that Xbox magazine (or whoever that was) that was a RE game?
Journalists suck.
EDIT:
I do agree the wish list is peculiar. BF isn't that big of a deal anymore so why give it an article? But why would they know so far in advance?

George Lucas was interviewed that time last year... That's all I could find.

Hate to be cynical, but I think it would go against the appeal of a cover announcement to make a clandestine announcement of the same game days prior which GI think "not many will see coming" anyway. Because right now, many gaming sites are reporting the rumour, so it's clear that people are already hoping to see the announcement coming. If GI's cover announcement is B3, then they wouldn't have reported the Spark Unlimted/ B3 rumour just days earlier, as it would just ruin the surprise.
Also, what hints have GI given in the past that have teased the next cover issue? (within a one week tmeline of the hint and the cover reveal, of course, as that seems to be the case here)

Ummm Epic Mickey. Which they revealed using an inkblot that kind of looked like Mickey. Or Tomb Raider, in which they had a picture of a boat. Or maybe Bioshock Infinite in which they posted saying they're meeting up with irrational games for lunch. How about Skyrim, in which they posted there wish list. Way back when GTA IV came out, they posted a link to a Youtube trailer mash-up to a bunch of gangster movies. Those are only the ones I can remember; take your pick.

From Spark's Twitter this morning/night John It seems like he is just waiting for the reveal now. It seems like it to me. it is almost like he wants the reveal to happen so he can talk about it. We will see.

lol, furtive would have been better I guess.
@Joelfigbars
I still think the use of a rumour article is a strange hint of the game's announcement, but I hope you're right.

It builds up hype right before the announce. There has been a lot of examples of this being done, not just with video games. Remember when the Iphone 4 was being developed and one of the developers left a prototype in a bar... That was MASSIVE Hype followed by a reveal a month or so later, I say it was done on purpose for that reason, but apple would never say that. Remember just recently when the snapshots of the new call of duty MW3 DLC maps were "leaked"... In todays world this a big way to build hype and excitement.

I have told gameinformer about this a few months ago. I wonder why they ignored my news tip and if so, they were probably given instructions by LucasArts to write up the article just to get people's attention. The article has about 15'000 views.
I also do believe that they are using the same method as they did with Skyrim and a few other games.
