Changes to Droids (and Troopers)

Clone Troopers and Battle Droids seem pretty much the same deal in BF I and II, minus the different weapons. Watch the films, and you will see there are clear differences. The most obvious being that battle Droids are far less nimble, and can withstand more punishment, particularly the Super Battle Droids, who seem more like walking tanks. Thus, to make this translate fairly and accurately in another battlefront, I think the following changes should be made;
Clone Troopers should keep their ability to dodge in the form of their roll and perhaps even have alternate methods of doing so; including a quick step to the right or left (maybe by pressing jump and right or left). They should be able to withstand less damage than droids, however, so as a Trooper you are encouraged to utilize their superior speed and dexterity. In this way you can play mind games with the opponent and appropriately showcase a trooper's superior intelligence.
Battle droids on the other hand, should have no way to roll, or dodge. Instead, they should have extra health, and have a virtually infinite energy (running meter). Picture a battle droid from the movies dodging or rolling - either the standard or supers -- can you imagine how silly that would look? My depiction would be to have the standard droids be able to shoot in quick succession/ deal more damage so as to make up for their lack of dexterity, and have about as much health as a standard trooper, if not a bit more. The SBD should have a fair bit more health, but should be significantly slower. That is how they are depicted in the films. Their blasters should, again, shoot at a faster rate than the clones to make up for this.
Droidekas should honestly stay the same as they are. They are the only class I think they did right. I would personally remove the Magnaguards, though. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think they ever fought on the battlefield. If they changed the classes as I've suggested there'd be enough versitality to choose from.
I think people will agree some form of a melee attack would be appreciated. How many times have you accidentally walked right up to the enemy in the games and wished you could hit them with your rifle? It would surely be a simple mechanic to implement. Clone Troopers and normal droids could either punch the enemy or use their rifle. To make SBD's a bit more viable, I think it'd be awesome if their melee attack was significantly stronger and actually knocked the enemy back a bit (like that scene in the movie when one smashed through that droid).
I would also be inclined to merge the various Battle droid classes into only three seperate classes: Normal Battle Droids, Supers, and Droidekas. To make up for their inability to move as quickly and nimbly as the troopers I think each normal droid should have the capacity to repair any other droid or vehicle, and I think the repairing should be significantly faster than that for humans.
On the subject of healing I think it'd be a neat idea if, as a trooper, you could acquire medpacs which you could use at any time during battle, BUT, I think they should function like the Left For Dead med pacs; there should be an unskippable animation for healing that leaves you vulnerable to attack while you use it, forcing you to be cautious. I don't think droids should actively be able to heal themselves, however. Instead, they should rely on other droids to heal them.
Sorry for the long description. I don't expect anyone not interested to bother, but if you are, let me know what you think.
TL;DR - Make the classes more accurate to the movies. That is all.
