Best Christmas Present Ever

Post by Scott »

I know it's a tad bit conceded to start a thread on one's own accomplishments, but I feel sharing my recent "gift" with my fellow forum members.

After 2 years of talk about it, I've finally applied to University, and the day of my letter of confirmation, I also received an email with the best news: I got early acceptance! :D :D :D

So I'm on cloud freakin' 10 to say the least. Nobody in my family knows yet so I'm preparing a "I have terrible news" speech with a twist ending.

For those who are interested, the program I was accepted into is a Bachelor's of Computer Science majoring in Computer Game Development. It starts in the Fall of 2012. I'll still be sticking around here of course :)-

So that's my early and amazing Christmas present. It's also been an experience of the difficulty of getting excitement through text

Four years with the possibility to go on to Master's or even Doctorate's at the University.

Only a 75 average is required. I believe it's mainly due to the need for CS students. Last year there were 11 coop opportunities per CS student. This demand usually forces schools to put the prerequisites down to stimulate the amount of students. Anyway, enough about that.
