I'm considering buying one of the two, Battlefield 3 or Modern Warfare 3. I'd like to know from people who have played both games, what they like about them.

Personally, I've played and own older versions of both games and love them both. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you own MW2 get BF3. Only buy MW3 if you haven't played a CoD since MW. Otherwise BF3 will probably be more fun.

When I can't decide what game I should get, I usually buy them both.

I agree with Scott. I've owned ever Call of Duty since 4 and it's more of the same. BF3 is somewhat of a fresh experience in the often crowded FPS market.

I find Battlefield 3 to be "too good." I don't find it too fun. Modern Warfare 3 can be fun, but frustrating and boring at times also. Modern Warfare 3 is also a lot of funs if you have friends playing with you, and can play private match modes like Juggernaut or Infected.

My solution? Go for a different FPS. Like Rage, Dead Island, Duke Nukem Forever, etc.

Buy BF3 so we can form a platoon.

I bought both MW3 and BF3... I ended up getting rid of MW3 because it was the same thing every day i played... With BF3 there is so much to do, Tanks, Jets, Helicopters, buggies, and finally Infantry. Then There are 4 types of infantry... REAL bullet physics, destroyable buildings and so much more. I suggest BF3 to anyone. Any day.

Although I do not own battlefield 3. I would say to go with battlefield. I find that they tend to be more funding larger scale battles

I bought Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 for story mode and Spec Ops. I bought Battlefield 3 for campaign and if there would be a star wars mod.

If you haven't played Battlefield much buy that. Overall more work and effort in that game made it much better and balanced. Which do I play more? MW3 because I'm pretty good at it but Battlefield 3 is team based and has so many different tactics.

Battlefield 3: 9/10

Modern Warefare 3: 8/10

Just started playing BF3. Its really good. I love the feeling of being in an all out war. As for MW3 I havent played it. I played BO and that was pretty boring so... BATTLEFIELD 3.
