found this and thought you might be interested its in russian but it basically says that spark have been given a stand by their publisher at the next GDC (in october?)

There are actually no plans for them to attend GDC according to their Twitter.

I reckon it's almost certain they will be promoting TOR there, but perhaps there's room for at least one other game.

That's all I reckon we can hope for.

As China is such an MMO consuming market there is withouth a doubt TOR will be there. That said, officially announcing SW B3 in a country where it is not even likely to generate interest (and future sales) seems silly. And why would LA make that announcement while they are currently promoting two upcoming SW games (1 scheduled for release by the end of this year and the other in early 2012). Knowing how LA don't have as much money as they used to, they really can't afford to detract attention from their AAA big-hitters with a B3 trailer that would actually look better than one of their upcoming games *cough/ SW Kinect/ cough*.

TOR is probably the most highly anticipated game that I know of and its probably 100x more than BF3 is. So even if BF3 gets announced it wouldn't get as much attention from all those TOR fans, but.... instead it will get attention from a lot of FPS fans that don't play/like MMO's. So what i'm saying is that if they announce BF3 now it wouldn't make a difference to TOR/BF3 sales/market.

But unfortunately this aint gonna happen...

Because if BF3 gets announced, SW Kinect will be obliviated by it and no one will buy it. I bet Microsoft have a contract with LucasArts to not announce any new games until SW Kinect makes a reasonable amount of money (which I highly doubt).

Final summation: BF3 will be announced late next year...

Nah, it'll probably be announced at E3 next year.

I have been disappointed at the VGA's for the past few years of not announcing BF3 but there is still hope. Probably be stuff like Halo 4 or Mass Effect 3 that will steal the show.

I don't think the VGA has that much of an impact, at least with me and my friends.
