Im not sure if this is good or bad
Question: What do you guys think about the rumours being circulated that you are working with lucasarts to create the next battlefront game?

Answer: The rumors are entertaining and distracting at the same time. We need to focus on the game design and the production underway to produce that game. We hope that someday soon we will put rumors to rest and be distracted by the fans that like (the) game we are making

What do you guys think?

Edit: I also just notice Johns grammar was kind of bad in this one o.O its like they confirm they are making battlefront than state they are making a diffrent game

Id personaly like a straight answer xD but however the John we are dealing with is John Butrovich according to the reply email

Either reverse physiology is epic, or he worded himself wrong. He was probably talking to someone about the game when he wrote it, so he got confused with the "this" from his IRL convo, with his email. That goes either way though.

The "this game" wording is a little ambiguous, but the red part is not. I cannot see how that could mean anything other than that they are not making it.

Doesn't have to mean that.

He could just mean that the current people distracting them are just the ones who are asking about BF3, instead of the ones who actually care about whatever the game could be - they just want to know what it is.

Basically, being distracted by the people who are looking forward to the game instead of just the ones who only care about what it is.

Battlefront 3 is the only game that really fits in with what it could be. It's a 3rd person action shooter sequel with multiplayer, a variety of alien/organic/unorganic characters, hero characters (i think they said that) and a variety of environments.

The only other thing that could fit in is Star Trek, but it says it's a sequel so that rules that out. It could be Mass effect, but only Bioware would work on that. Can't be Halo as 343 has that. There's nothing other than Star wars it can be.

Their site also says they are working on the game FOR a major publishing partner, which means the publisher owns the rights/IP - i can't think of any Major publishers that have a high profile sci-fi 3rd person action shooter with previous games released other than Lucasarts.

I don't think this says anything, but the "I can't tell you what we're working on. If anything, I think it hints that they ARE making battlefront 3 and are excited at all the attention it's getting before it's announced. It could go either way though.
