They're not toying with us. They're toying with YOU! DON'T LET THEM TOY WITH YOU! RUN AWAY, RUN AWAY!!!!

lol, J/K. In all seriousness, I'm guessing that they want us to stop badgering them and doing one of the only things they can do that won't get them fired.

Spark tweeted:

"For all those asking for little details about the game, they are all information tidbits for use by marketing. You have to wait 4 reveal in"

Then afterwards:

"Oh, I do hate the 140 character limit and messages getting truncated. Oh well."

Yep, they're messing with us.

I've noticed that spark has started posting 'bounties' in their job listings. Paying people for referrals. That kicks ass.

Anyway, it might also be some sort of hint towards the game's nature (or they just REALLY need employees) Bounty hunting seems to be a pretty huge profession in the whole Star Wars universe. But outside of a few hero characters, it isn't really relevant to Battlefront as far as I can remember.

So, they're spending $40,000 to try to give a very subtle hint at the game?

I'm pretty sure they just really need to fill those positions.

*Edit* Also, Bounty Hunter is a single player game, while Spark's project has online multiplayer. A multiplayer sequel to a single player game wouldn't be unheard of. But would the bounty hunter formula really work in multiplayer? (Note: I meant that as an actual question, not a rhetorical. I've never played bounty hunter.)

Well. The actual Bounty Hunter game basically ended up being a run'n'gun. Although there were occasionally a few people you could rope up and collect to nab a bounty on. Of course, this meant scanning the hell out of every single enemy, droid, and bystander on every level.

I'm sure if there was a sequel, that would be fleshed out a bit more. Some sort of mashup of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Red Dead Redemption. In space.

Sorry, off topic.

Anyway, Bounty Hunter is a possibility. But it doesn't seem as likely as Battlefront 3.

Clearly the online multiplier isn't just slapped on there. Why else would they put Multiplayer Front-End Engineer as one of the bounty jobs? So I think it's safe to assume multiplayer is a pretty big part of the game, something that has always been true for the Battlefronts.

Also:
Bounty Hunter was on PS2 and Game Cube.
SWBF2 was on PS2, Xbox, and PC.
Spark's project is on PS3, Xbox360, and PC.
A sequel is more likely to be on either the same consoles or the successor to the consoles that the original was on, than it is to be on completely different consoles, right?

Not to mention that BF2 greatly outsold BH, giving Lucasarts more sequel motivation.

Admittedly, none of those tells us for sure that it's BF3 and not BH2. But the evidence does show some support for it.

Bounty Hunter sounds like Prey. It'd be a strange time to release a game so similar especially with a dev team with a not-so-good past like Spark.

:?: ya i dont think they would want to be making any games similar to any other games.... but wait battlefront is similar to Battlefield which is an EA game....

And they were sued by EA for the similiarities in the COD game they made to medal of honor after snatching up a dev team made up of EA employees...

I'm not sure what you meant by that, but if your insinuating that LA/Spark will get sued due to the similarity, then they would've done it by now with the other two games.
