I'm still not convinced that this is a Battlefront game specifically, but it is better than nothing.

That new announcement would be a new gameplay feature or mode that hasn't been shown before (probably fighting abilities or multiplayer). If the announcement will be Battlefront 3, why would Lucas Arts announce it in a panel for a completely different Star Wars game? It's like announcing a new animated Batman & Robin television series during a panel focusing on the upcoming Dark Knight Rises film. It wouldn't make sense.

Further, if the Old Republic and Kinect Star Wars games get their own panels, why doesn't Battlefront 3 have its own panel?

But what I think they meant with the "unveiling an exciting announcement" is the rumored R2-D2 xBox with integrated kinect in bundle with the kinect game.

I hate to say it, but I think he's right on this one.

But I still think that BF3 will be announced, just not in the panel. I'm thinking more of a stage blowout, rather than a mention in a different panel.

Gee, you know the first thing that pops in my head for a panel that would be named "Panel for anticipated unannounced Star Wars Game?" Battlefront 3! I think that wouldalso be a big giveaway as well, it wouldbe to obvious, they probably wanna supprise their fans and be spontaneous. That's why I think it's possible they very well could be announcing it at that panel, because they won't be expecting it!

So expect the unexpected.

Asking them if they're making a Halo game (a month AFTER 2 new Halo games were announced) is a pretty dumb thing to do.
